Makes financial and football sense to go with Gallup and Ceedee, especially if Ceedee is a #1. They will have to pay him top money and can save a few dollars by signing Gallup. I'd offer Cooper for Howard

well, if he has another limited season, perhaps we walk away and resign Gallup, specially if some of the younger WRs and Cedric Wilson show a little more......his contract was set up so we could walk away after two years.

and if cedric can be more effective 3rd WR and some of the young ones show up....plus we need to see how the two TEs do and what they can do for the passing game

People really need to understand Cooper's contract. Cowboys fans are really misinformed about that $100MM contract despite the fact it's been said over and over here that it was largely a team friendly deal.

They can cut Cooper and save $16MM on the cap in 2022 if they want. All they have to eat beyond this season is $6MM in the prorated signing bonus. That's it.

It was actually a pretty good contract from the Cowboys perspective.

I initially thought they would let Gallup walk and keep Cooper but I am beginning to think the opposite may happen now. They may cut Cooper and sign Gallup. This assumes Lamb and Gallup play well enough in 2021.

Serious question. I asked this a couple months ago, and I'll ask it again.....I don't remember ever seeing any "fish" stuff on here until this year....why is that??? The dude really gives me the creeps!!!

BTW, Cooper should have immediately been cut after the @Philly game in 2019....dude was absolutely GUTLESS!!!

Don't know about that but I have said before that the Cowboys should stay in Gallup's ear because you just don't know what can happen. If Lamb doesn't become All-World like everyone is assuming he will be and/or has a sophomore slump, suddenly Gallup is very valuable. Like draft day last season showed, you just never know so don't write anyone off and don't write anyone in.
