They have very similar stats
I’d prefer the younger, cheaper option myself
But he’s likely not lost
Since he’s injured he’s not likely to be claimed so he reverts back I believe for IR

Yeah. I'm hoping we're able to stash him.

Yeah he was outstanding. But we've allowed our ST coach to replace our kicker who was perfect the year before, our LS that has been perfect his entire career, and now our punter who was a huge upgrade last season, all for his own guys.

And yet our FG kicking was excellent last year, the coverage improved, and the return game went from bad to mediocre.

It's obvious our offense played Niswander's strengths last year by giving him plenty of practice. Obviously that won't happen this year. He'll.he was looking at a stretch if weeks without the team needing to punt. And he is the kind of player that needs a lot of game time to stay focused and on top of things.

Smart decision again for the Brain Trust.

Its all going to plan.

yeah seems like a mistake to me.
What I wonder is who is letting ST coach have the players HE wants?
Is Mike wanting and approving these moves or is it jerry?

For me it is on Mike, if these moves dont produce a better product, it is his fault.

there are some giants idiots in here with the conspiracy theory's,

gets old every thread every fan favorite and this is am all time low..if you truly believe a coach would bring worse player to replace better one just over nepotism, you are the worst of delusional fans on earth

that's not how it works..now if all things being equal, sure they will pick their guy..

no proof whatsoever JF cut Niswanger for anger because he likes him better lmao..nis is hurt and career wise Angers numbers are nearly identical..

as far as LC was also a cap deal and an age deal.other teams have done this recently, cant remember the team but last week cut a LS who was also nearly perfect..

sometimes its time to move on and make changes...

our ST was better then its ever ben last year, sure some crazy fakes and odd calls in weird area of the field but i truly believe in lost desperate season coaches will do strange things knowing its their only play..

sure it happens in coaching trees all over not just there but when it comes to 53 man roster with 43 active on gameday better players are NOT replaced with worse ones..that another overreaction by fans and on a punter that an all time low in fan narratives..

man you all are some sad fans really.. right a coach would be allowed to cut a CLEARLY better player for a Name just because lmao..

they see these players kick in every practice all offseason..they know whos better and in this case healthier..

just wow..smh some of you need help serious help.....everything a freaking conspiracy around here..OVER A PUNTER, LS and a Kicker who btw did very well last year inside of 50...

whats next you dont like the waterbody? they change the brand of detergent at the ranch and it send soup anther red flags..:huh:

'SEEMS' how the flip do you know these are worse players and bad decisions. Show me not guess not have an overreactive response over punter..lmao..

why does it have to be better how about its the same?they cut an inured punter,,wow thats headlines last time they kept Jones as he was hurt and fell off people here lost nut..

you know who doesn't approve a move because yo have zero idea of who better player or not, FANS..

Well considering recent history I doubt McCarthy is the driving force behind this. Why did Marinelli have so much say in personnel? Was it Mike McCarthy's fault?

It's real simple. When you are a fraud at your position like Jerry and his son are, you look to others to do your job for you. They just want the title and the final day. They don't actually want to do the work. That's why you need our assistant director of personnel at the post draft press conference to talk about the players and why our Director of Personnel tells you he's only seen some highlights of our 1st round pick but Brad Sham was really impressed by him.

They are empty suits.

So your saying it is jerry letting ST coach get rid of players for guys he prefers?
If so Mike is stupid and is just a puppet too.
The one I thought was really crazy was the long snapper, to me that made no sense.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. The last head coach Jerry actually had to respect had him, in his own words, "walking on egg shells".

Definitely not a cap move, Anger will count over a million dollars against the cap this year whereas Niswander was minimum wage.
