His nickname growing up was "The Waterboy"

As a kid growing up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Parsons showed glimpses of that athleticism when he was nicknamed “The Waterboy” based on the Adam Sandler movie from the late 90s.

“When I was in the pee-wee league at an early age I used fly around and hit people hard.
I had that type of mentality where I was a young age playing linebacker, It was kind of instinctual and they would blitz me every play, and eventually, they started calling me the Waterboy because they would tell me to go blitz and tackle people, like The Waterboy, Bobby Boucher”

They're the Nittany Lions, but the mascot looks like a puma.
Til their real name is the Penn State Nittany Pumas
o_O
Nittany lion is a mountain lion or cougar. It’s that simple. Mountain lions roamed the State College area until 1880.

At this time the remaining mountain lions were moved out of Pennsylvania. People report still seeing mountain lions on occasion but this is extremely rare.

I think they’re going to try their best to bring Parsons straight up the middle, right in quarterbacks’ faces. In fact, I’m expecting to see it game one against Brady.
They've done that with Jacqueline for 4 years and it hasn't worked.

I'm not a nickname guy and will continue to call him Parsons. That said he's already got a nickname given to him in Pee-Wee league...Waterboy. He said it's what his coaches called him because he just flew around blitzing and tackling people like Bobby Boucher.

The only thing I could come up with so far is Blue Lion, after the Voltron character.
