Not here, if he plays well I will be thrilled. I've lost any faith that will happen though. I don't believe in his ability to see the game and make correct reads, nor do I think he can shed a block. Hell he can't even conquer a sled. Hope he proves me wrong. I'd like nothing more than to publicly apologize to him. Just don't believe it will happen.
agreed.
i think he tries to do too much and it gets him in trouble.
if he dials it back a little...and with some actual help in front of him and on both sides...i'm curious to see if he looks more like the 54 we were excited about.

Yeah, somewhere in there 2018 Jaylon exist, unless his health has regressed.

I don't see any signs of Jaylon being anything jealous towards rookie Micah Parsons. If anything, Jaylon Smith has been the complete opposite. He has welcomed Micah with open arms and helped him in any way that he can. Jaylon has been a true professional and a big brother.

By season's end, if Jaylon Smith is willing to take a paycut, he will remain a Dallas Cowboy...and rightfully so. If he refuses......HE GONE.

Don't know. I think we'll pay the best between Vander Esch and Jaylon. If LVE is better, we'll give him Jaylon's money. If Jaylon is better, we'll restructure his deal. I can't see us keeping both.

And if both are bad, have injury issues, etc., maybe we just keep Neal around instead.

didnt bo get dinged the last game whats his story..hope hes ready..thought it was odd they cut 99 with hill and gallimore on ir

good rotation maybe no outright stars thats for sure..hope they dont mess up the lb spot like last year all that blame but really the ol got to 2nd level easily and often and hard to lay LB with those big dudes up on you in a hurry

We cut Hamilton because we knew no one would pick him up. For the first two games, we'll bring him up to help with the DL.

I used to love the guy. Loved him at ND. Loved his comeback story. Loved him in 2018. Since the contract he has become something else. The sunglass business. His stupid Shark Tank stuff. The antics after he has sucked for 3.5 quarters. The matador tackles. Detached from reality. Now I can’t stand him. He will only stand in the way for Cox and Parsons. He needs to be gone.

He's still the inferior player and he knows it. But Clear Eye View got paid so of course he's a company man. I really really hope Jaylon balls hard this year. I think he's motivated to say the least. Again, leadership only goes so far. Show it on the field.

That would be sad. He can still contribute...but limitedly. This season will be very telling. Anxious to see how he performs with the lesser opportunities he will have this year.

I dont see how. The injury has robbed him of his speed, his change of direction. When I watch him play I see a guy no longer capable of playing in the NFL. He is handicapped at this point.

The red flags were there. he was only rookie I ever heard of who got paid through some sort of insurance scam for not being drafted in the first round.
