Tampa game could be ugly for Dallas

It’s no secret that for Dallas to win they need to play a near perfect game, but I’m not about to jump off the ledge if they lose. Anything can happen in the following 16 games.

In the NFL, any game can turn ugly for any team. On paper, Tampa does seem to have an edge in talent. As was previously mentioned, games ain't played on paper. Too many variables come into play to throw in the towel on this game. Yes. It could get ugly for us, but the opposite could also happen.

Personally I won't :flagwave:

be out on the ledge if if we end up 0-1, its just one game and it will be a great game to expose areas where we still need work. I just hope we stay healthy, we have some talent and if we can gel and bring this thing together win the east and slide into the play offs on all cylinders, that's what its all about.

"We're never gonna make it"............We both get to have 11 on the field at all times, I expect our Pro's to get after thier pro's. If the Cowboys leave it all on the field and they fight like caged animals...thats what I want to see. Leave it all on the field and let the breaks detetrmine the game. WE CAN WIN IF THEY GIVE IT EVERYTHING!!!....LETS GO COWBOYS!!!!!

I expect the Dallas offense to struggle for three quarters and the defense to falter on third downs.

This Cowboy team can compete against all the elite teams, including the Bucs. Brady's biggest weakness has always been getting pressure in his face and force him to move off a spot. I believe we can apply such pressure and give Brady some trouble.

its their offnese against our defense that worries me....they have Evans, Godwin, Brown....three #1 recievers. Brate and Gronk....and Brady at the helm.....and we have inexperienced secondary.....I like Diggs, but he gave up a lot of deep plays last year....he did well against weaker opponents but got owned against better WRs. lets not forget he is only a second year player. and who is manning the other spot? a rookie or brown? neither is good...

they will pick our defense apart. we may make 1 stop. 2 stops...but then give up a big play....we won't be able to keep them down....and you are not going to go from bottom feeding to average or above average defense in one off season, no matter how much you tried to change...

and the defensive collapse, will put pressure on the offense, make us one dimentional and that plays right into their hand....they have a lot of pass rush up front and we may make 1 play, 2 play but then collapse in crucial times...their defense is just too good against a one dimentional offense.

they key for us and its a long shot, is pass rush and some ability to collapse the pocket from the inside, since Brady is the master of stepping up in the pocket, by an extra second and make those throws....and then our ability to run the ball and shorten the game and reduce their number of possessions...

I am sure when we lose all Dak haters will point fingers...its inevitable.

100% .... If Dak looked good and we won 27 to 17 Dak haters will only say he was a bus driver. Dak plays even better and we lose 37 to 40 they say Dak can't win and he sux ..

It's really easy to look objectively at the effort when you're not looking for failures by players right out of the gate.

The two biggest mismatches in this game are their WRs against the Cowboys CBs, and their interior offensive line against the Cowboys DTs. We will find out if any of these promising Safeties they signed are worth anything because they will need to support the CBs and cover Gronkoski.

The TB OL is pretty good too. Law, who has not played a down in the preseason, will face Wirfs who looked pretty good as a rookie. But the bigger mismatch is going to be their Gs and C against the DTs of the Cowboys. I expect, as has been the case in previous years, 2 of the 3 will take care of the Cowboys DTs and the 3rd guy will bury a LB. This is where we find out if LVE is really any better than he was last year.

I really think not playing the starters in the preseason is going to hurt Dallas.

This first game against Tampa has been like a beacon of hope for the troll nation. They get continue with their doom and gloom behavior for at least another week or two.

But what happens if we actually win the game? Their worst nightmare will start to unfold.
