I think the whole "sucks on the road" bugaboo is a misnomer.. Cooper's struggles have been been more about cold weather than just on the road.. If you look at his career the colder it gets the lower his catch percentage gets. Same with his yards per game. As a fellow Floridian I can tell you from experience.. the cold weather games kick our butts. People can say what they want but it's a very real thing. If you are gimped up a little bit it gets magnified tenfold when it's 25 degrees outside.. And sometimes even if you're 100% healthy it takes 3X as long to get warmed up.. if in fact you ever do get warmed up.. and if you spend too much time standing still your body parts start to go numb. It's very real and aint goin nowhere any time soon.

I agree its not about playing on the road, and cold could be a thing...whatever it is I hope he owns it (which everything he says and how he goes about his business) points to that. I think he has a great year to be honest and we can put this to bed.

Man I love Coop and watching Hard Knocks has only made me like him more. The guy is a total pro. I can't believe the hate he gets from his own fan base.

I cuss out my favorite players on game day regularly, but I let it go and appreciate their total body of work. Some yall really hold grudges.
Lol. I have cussed every player on the team through my TV. Sometimes all of them in the same game. My wife usually takes the dog and goes outside when it gets that far.

My "ex-husband" used to call me a "bad fan" because I would sometimes yell at the players through my TV. I had NEVER in my life been called that before!!! I bleed Cowboy blue!!! Maybe he is secretly a member here on Cowboyszone. LOL

You do know they are contracted to answer the media...again Coop is not a big talker EVER...he said he needs to prove it. Its almost like you didn't read or listen to what he said....basically wanted to take a shot at the team and used this thread Title. He literally said he needs to prove it with his play....

Most guys would kill for a wife who is passionate about their favorite team and can sit and enjoy the game with them. My wife pretended to like football when we were dating and hasn't watched more than a handful of games with me in the 21 years since we said I do.. I was duped!!!

My wife watches the first quarter and then sleeps about 45 seconds at a time until I wake her yelling.

Cooper is as good and smooth a route runner as there is in the league. His concentration (too many drops) and performance in road games against top flight corners need improvement for him to be in the conversation for the best in the game.

Even if he isn't the best WR in the league, I like him thinking he is. He knows he hasn't proven it so that means each week he will be trying to prove it. Pride can definitely motivate a man to perform beyond his normal limits.
