Pre-game Pep Talk for Zoners

I am pumped. Can’t believe I am but I am. Let’s go!

Football season is my favorite time of the year. I crank up the Sports Cave with my 5 TV’s+ for full entertainment on the weekend.

I miss the intensity and atmosphere I had for most of 4 decades on Sunday attending the games but at my age, health issues and our current situation definitely not a reality or possibility any longer.

I’ve learned to enjoy a more laid back approach and all of the memories my blessed life has bestowed on me. It’s been truly a life of a diehard sports fan at all levels. The best 4-5 months are underway. God bless football season. Go Cowboys!!

Tampa will run for 6 yards on a play and half the gameday thread will freak out like the defense is done lol. Sometimes we act as if the other team can’t gain a yard and we should score everytime on O.

I tend to stay away from the game threads. There’s idiots talking for tanking after they get behind 3-0. If Dak has a 3 and out, the haters will be saying how they told us so how he sucks and needs to be traded. If the Cowboys are winning it’s a little more civil and I may show up then.

It gets toward the end of the year and people are bored with a ,",meaningless " game. Or why back into a wild card when we'll just get smoked.

I'm like ENJOY this precious few Hours!
I'm not afraid of being letdown or disappointed. The ride was good and there's a long long stretch without it.

Yes, it's okay for someone else to have a different opinion. Life would be boring if we were all the same. If you're at an impasse, it's okay to do the "agree to disagree" thing.

Yes! You can say, "I respectfully disagree. Here's why ...." or "I beg to differ," not "you bleepin' idiot" or worse.

People forget that. True. It's a sign of strength to get along with people who don't agree with you on everything.
