Dak is not good against good teams

Dak vs McMahon really???

Of course Mahomes is better. Guy is one of the most talented players to ever play. Still there is ZERO chance he wins without the very good team he has in KC. So your view is that we stuff Mahomes on the Jets they win a SB? No way.

Bottom line is Dak is one guy on a team. He plays a big position but he can’t carry the full load. No one can in the NFL.

Your right that nobody can carry the full load but there are times that the great QBs step up when the team is struggling and win games. I believe if you put Mahomes on the Jets they may not win a SB but they could win their division.

You are a great poster but I take the other side. Dak has won games for Dallas. Despite the team and terrible coaching. He isn’t Mahomes but Dak is very solid. Still he like ALL QBs need help. I don’t agree with lumping losses on Dak.

Yeah you right.. Mahomes can singlehandedly put teams into the promised land... just like the time he CARRIED Texas Tech to the national championship.. twice.. oh... wait... That was a dream I had.. Again.. the Chiefs were 11-5, 12-4 and 10.6 the three years before they made him the starter so it would behoove folks to quit acting like he elevated KC more than a couple of wins a year. He absolutely did.. but acting like he was going to lift the Jets to 7-8 more wins is just plain stupid. Hell Dak elevated the Cowboys from 4-12 to 13-3.. The Chiefs went from 10-6 to 12-4 when they tapped Mahomes to start.. Imagine that.. for the math impaired 9 is greater than 2. It will be fun watching you people talk out both sides of your mouth when trying to claim Dak was "carried by the TEAM" to a 9 game turnaround early on while Mahomes "elevated" the Chiefs ... a whole two games.. Even though HIS team was clearly better to begin with. Go ahead.. I'll just sit back and enjoy..

It's a game they are supposed to lose. Tampa is a better team with far greater continuity coming in playing at home. Tampa has the far better defense (on paper) and at least as good an offense. The Cowboys only win if they get damn near super human efforts from a few guys.. Zeke, Dak, Coop, Lamb, Gregory, Lawrence and Parsons.. If all those guys go off the Cowboys can win.. We need 125 and 1 TD from Zeke.. 275 yards and a 2 TDs with no TOs from Dak, and 150 on 10 catches from Coop with a TD.. 100 yards and a TD from Lamb.. Maybe even sneak in one bomb to Gallup in place of the TD to either Coop or Lamb. I know the numbers for Dak look mundane at first glance but such a performance would represent a major improvement over what Mahomes and Rodgers did against that defense.. Thus .. super human.. As for the defensive side.. if those three guys all get at least one sack and 3-4 more hits on Brady apiece the Cowboys will be in good shape. It's doable.. but the Cowboys losing this game should change nothing about how we feel about this season. We ended last year behind the Bucs and unless there is huge improvement very quickly.. we will start this season still behind them.

That's the type of thing a good QB might be able to pull off. Get a big win when the odds are against you.

Given that only one team in NFL history has ever gone undefeated we know good teams lose. People who hate this team and its players will have all manner of rationalizations if the Cowboys win.. I don't expect anything to change even if the Cowboys blow them out. The narrative will instantly shift to excuse making for Brady and the Bucs.. "Brady's old and was not sharp.. " "The Bucs suffered Super Bowl hangover.." "They didn't take the Cowboys seriously.." They're already lined up.. Nothing will change with this group.. ever..

Perhaps, but then you get an opportunity later to beat other good teams and when you start stacking those wins then the narrative changes.
