This is a passing team now?

Tampa DL is no joke. Our OL is on it's last leg especially without Martin. We desperately need some young stud upfront.

Against any other team we would have ran far more to keep balance but you can't blame Moore for calling this game.

No. Relying on passing should not be our goal. Look at how the Chiefs did in the last Super Bowl. Chiefs shut down Mahomes and dared them to run the ball and they failed. We need to be balanced and able to do both. Unfortunately, Tampa’s Run D is one of the best in the league, and without Martin, we didn’t stand a chance.

we will see them again soon… and next time we’ll get em.

It was clearly the game plan for Tampa Bay. No one has success running on them and we were very successful in the passing game, plus they were down a couple players in the secondary.

Chris Collingsworth properly called it: Dallas wasn't going to succeed running into TB's front 7. Esp. without Martin.

The game plan gave us a chance to win. Huge props to Kellen Moore, Dak and the offense.

No running game ? What does that mean ? Dak threw 80% of the snaps . All 75% plus drop back passing percentage ended with 0-7 according to Espn . But it seems like the way the country will roll . This is a huge paradigm shift for the cowboys.

Game plan was tailored for Tampas weakness as opposed to going straight into the heart of the defense. It won't be that lopsided going forward.

But yes, we've become a passing offense the last couple of years.

It has been since Kellen Moore took over. They spent years building a physical front to run behind and then in 19 completely abandoned the years worth of investments and time in the philosophy.

It has backfired completely.

He was a horrible Backup QB , and now .. proving to be horrible at OC too .

When you have a QB and group of WRs like we have, you use them, ESPECIALLY when you’re playing a great run defense like Tampa. Example…Penn State has a group of RBs most CFB teams would LOVE to have, but against Wisconsin’s front 7? Zilch, nada, negatory!

I am not trying to start a big argument here but it sure feels like this organization manufactures situations where they try to prove the outside perceptions wrong and that is what their focus is. The amount of people talking about Dak playing great and not the team losing is shocking to me. Its almost as if things are setup to prove the 40 million dollar quarterback deserved his money. I don't get it at all and it is not a mark of a winning organization.

People are glaring over a number of errors the team made in order to prop up the qb. Most of these people in the media hated the previous qb and went of their way to blame him for everything and used him for attention for themselves on the radio and social media.

A Big play no one mentions is Tyron Smith's big holding calling. That probably cost dallas the opportunity to run the clock down and then kick the field goal as time ran out. Tyron cost dallas a win over detroit in 2013 and then in the end they were 1 game short of winning the division.

Looks like this is a team that actually attacks the other team's weakness, which I love. I'd be mad if we kept burning downs running into the stout D Line of Tampa Bay. We would probably have been blown out. Do what works. Against teams that aren't great against the run, you go run heavy.

I've been saying that since the 2019 season, but what do I know?
