Where do you lay the blame for this loss?

Tampa 31 Dallas 29

1. The offense
2. Deffense
3. Special teams
4. Front office

A case can be made for each of these as the main culprit in this close loss. We already know our defense will be suspect at best. Winning the turnover battle 3-1 wasn't enough. It's criminal how the front office wouldn't bring in a viable kicker all off-season with zeurline out having surgery. He came back and looked bad and still they did nothing. Missed a FG and XP but don't forget Tampa went for a FG to win the game on purpose, they could have easily scored a TD. They should have stashed zeurline on it untill he was ready but it's too late now. But really I believe with how this team is built this loss is on the offense. We are supposed to be offensive juggernauts. We move the ball so we'll untill we get to the red zone and then we fail to score TD's yet again. This team can not afford to waste these opportunities.

What's y'all's perspective?

Special Teams
Offense
Front Office
Defense

That order. They probably lost the game on the missed kicks and then not getting 7 pts on the goalline. FO continues to ignore the DT position so Brady was pretty comfortable stepping up in the pocket all game.

Special teams. Special needs more like.

I am confident they won'tbe that bad again all season long.

I'm actually very encouraged by last night and won't get hung up on the "L".

The defense was bad, but I expected them to be bad and they still got four turnovers. I guess they were actually a little better than expected against what is supposed to be a top four offense.

While special teams is probably the answer, I was more upset at Lamb’s drops and Jarwin’s MEGA WHIFFED block at the goal line.

Special teams.

can’t leave 4 points on the board against the Super Bowl champs on the road.

also they allowed a couple big kick offs and short fields for Brady.

They were not good last night. And against the champs on the road. You just need special teams to be crisp if you want to win.

My bad. You are right

sorry wasn’t trying to be a jerk. I just find it curious as I see everyone saying it.

had Tampa missed the kick I guarantee the fact that Dallas got 4 takeaways would be a huge story today.

Team loss. Big penalties by the OL probably the difference between killing the clock at the end of the game by running a few more plays. Looks like one of the worst STs in the league again. Why does Fassel get so much autonomy on players and calls when his performance (and the guys before him) have been terrible. A couple big drops. The DBs are who we thought they were. I can't wait to read today about the people on here who were talking about how our CBs weren't poor. Hopefully the kids get a chance and step up. Also, surprised and disappointed that Hooker wasn't active.

BUUUUUTTTTTT...there was a lot more good than bad last night. This team proved that at least for one night they could go toe to toe with the champs in their house in a tough opening night. Personally I feel a lot better about this team than I did before last night.

I didn't take it that way.

It should be a huge story. We were so bad at them for so long even when we got remarkably better last year and this game it's not enough.

We all saw it, what went wrong is pretty obvious. Our kicker can't kick. CD dropped too many balls. These are correctable things. It's good news. We can hang with anyone. We should win a bunch of games this season, enough to make the playoffs. This team is only getting better.

Hopefully Hooker and the rookie CB are ready for the bolts.

The pass rush or lack there of was the main reason. In my opinion.
