I am feeling pretty good for a loss actually.
We went into the defending superbowl champions house and gave them all they could handle.
This without our best player. (Martin)
Lost by 2 points when our kicker missed a short field goal.

We have a top 5 passing attack.
Defense is much improved.

Biggest concern is special teams which aint so special.

Feeling good about the rest of the season.
We should win the NFC Least easily.

What say you ?

I'm proud of the Cowboys. We may have lost, but I think we just struck fear into all 31 other teams (including the Bucs who I think we will see in the playoffs).

Week 1 on the road lost to the SB champ by 2. Cowboys looked good overall. Cowboys should start racking up the wins now.

I'm in the mood for a doughnut and a cinnamon roll

Me too, partner. Now who's willing to take my diabetes for a day.

My feeling is I watched one heck of a game. The D forced 4 TOs. Dak led the offense like a top notch QB. Sure there's some issues to clean up. I saw a team come out and play with some fire.

Enjoy this win TB. We'll meet you again in the playoffs and we're gonna whip your behinds next time.

Feeling damn good......when was the last time our D had 4 turnovers in one game. If this is what we can expect, we are going to win a lot of games. Sure we gave up a bunch of yards ......but Brady is a damn surgeon out there. There was no way we were going to shut him down. If there's slight disappointment for me is why Quinn didn't take away Gron, especially 2nd half. The whole world knows he's Brady's fav target....double, triple team, or whatever ever but don't give him Gron.

Gronk on Brady reading Cowboys’ defense: He sees it all, he’s been playing for 80 years

Funny, we didn't see you all last night when Dak was carving up the Bucs D.
Sorry as my priority are the Cowboys at the game time, not the Dak Zombies.....
Anyway, here you go bud....

I am of course disappointed we lost, but Dak played a great game. Even TOM BRADY said he did. I feel like Tom Brady knows a little more about playing QB than you. Oh, and Bruce Arians was gushing over Dak in the postgame press conference. Maybe you didn't see that, but Arians was talking about how he's known Dak for a long time and loves the way he handles himself. I feel like Arians knows a bit more about QB play than you. In no way was this loss on Dak. Even the pick was a perfect throw that was dropped. What we need is a kicker. We need to bring back that Finnish kicker so that we can finish better.

The Defense was OK, just a bit conservative....no point in over-committing to pressurizing Brady with our questionable secondary. It's never going to be able to over pressurize.....unless we resolve the glaring issue of CB2, as that's an easy play for any QB (even thoughs not called the goat).

Zeke not great ? He blocked and did a job.

He didn't look elusive,
What DID we see of the run? Not much really. The boy wonder at OC gave up on the run while the plane was still on the tarmac at DFW. Matters not which RB you favor, neither one got a valid chance last night. Yes, Tampa has a stout D-Line, you still have to make them respect the run, you still have to make the LB and the DB be aware of your ability to run the ball.

Agreed, but watching I never really felt, give the ball to Zeke more.

Sadly my mood is the same it has been the last few years. No matter if we are playing great against playoff caliber teams or playing down to bottom dwelling teams, the results are the same. It's another nail-biter to the very end. Looks like I need to stock up on blood pressure meds or at the very least, some anxiety pills. This will be another long season. While I am happy to see we can play against the best of teams out there and have a chance to win, I would really like to see a few games this year we win decisively and long before the last seconds of the game. Until then, welcome to the 2021 edition of the Cardiac Cowboys.

Initially I was very disappointed as we had the opportunity to win the game!! But as thought about it, we played one heck of a game!! Dak was on fire!! And can we put the narrative that "Cooper disappears on the road" to bed? He was awesome!! I'm starting to feel more optimistic about this season. However, our kicker needs to go!! And I just want to say to all those pundits out there (I'm looking at you Rodney Harrison) who said Cowboys would be "blown out"....suck it!! :p

While Dak looked better than expected under the circumstances, throwing 58 times while rushing 18 times is simply not a winning formula. The defense got torched by a 44-year old QB and while Diggs played well, the other CB's got roasted. The LB's and S's faired no better and the dline got little to no pressure. While only 1 game, this is similar to how 2020 started.
That's what I saw too. My mood is crappy and I am pissed I wasted my night watching what always happens when I stay up. The Cowboys lose. This loss is on Dak! He needed to drive for 7 and not 3. Kicking FG is a losing way. And to compound matters he left too much time on the clock.

Letting the days go by
Let the water hold me down
Letting the days go by
Water flowing underground
Into the blue again
After the money's gone
Once in a lifetime
Water flowing underground

Moral victory be mine!!!!

For a team that bubble wrapped their offense for the preseason, they surprised the hell out of me and I would have bet that Prescott wouldn't get over 400 against that defense.

Arians is happy they don't have to play the Cowboys again, except maybe in January, and that his receiver got away with OPI.

Anyone who doesn’t feel better about the team today than yesterday before the game had unrealistic expectations.

Did you really think Anthony Brown wouldn’t have a coverage bust? Did you expect Parsons to truck everyone in his first game like it was Texans backups?
