You guys do know Vea had ZERO tackles, right. He basically did nothing until that final drive when he decided to start playing. No doubt he is a monster, but he wasn't all that last night. Just sayin....

Stats don't always tell the whole story though. He helped eliminate Zeke from the game completely and also the OL has to account for him every play. Helps keep LBs clean.

I think we would have if he'd have made it to us. We've ended up in a poor draft spot for the top DTs the last few years. Of course, some of that is what you manufacture. If you want certain players, sometimes you have to go get them.

Probably some hesitancy from the Mo Claiborne debacle. Giving up a 2nd or future 1st is really bad. There's way too many quality players in the 2nd if you don't suck at scouting.

He pushed off but it wasn’t egregious enough to overturn the no call if PIs were still reviewable. They stopped making them reviewable because they were staying with the call or no call on the field. It became a joke!

.sorry guys. Lewis appeared to be falling back in momentum, Goodwin put his hand up for location of ball, in doing his hand was on Lewis but wasn't obvious push off. Just good play by Goodwin.

Lots of hits and misses in the second too. I wouldn't hesitate to swap a second for a proven player.

This is why sacks are a terrible stat. He was creating pressure all night but because Dak didnt go down it would not show up in the scoreboard as anything.

This . . . he knew He was wrong when he did it and looked around waiting fir the Call that never came

Ive never seen anything like that.

Everyone knows that’s a huge huge no no and a automatic personal foul and 1st down.

He not only took his helmet off he spiked it on the ground.

How on earth that didn’t draw a flag I’ll never know and I’m not convinced if our guy did it they wouldn’t have an example made out of them.

The holding call against Conner Williams towards the end of the game was massive. It negated a first down and put us in a big hole.

Without the call we milk the clock and Brady doesn’t have enough time to engineer another game winning drive.

without the hold Dak would have been killed

The holding call was completely justified.

No excuses here. Vita Vea was incredible at the end.

All I’m saying is that if Conner Williams doesn’t get beat on that play we likely win.
Dak had a great game, but that was on him. He held on to the ball too long. Had Wilson open in the endzone but didn't see anyone open and finally dumped it off to Zeke.

Did Chris Godwin commit OPI on key catch? Cowboys, Buccaneers weigh in on controversy

Chris Godwin's fourth-quarter catch proved to be a critical turning point for the Buccaneers, but some wondered whether the receiver pushed off.

TAMPA — Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis trailed Buccaneers receiver Chris Godwin down the left sideline. Godwin pinned Lewis with his left arm, Lewis aiming to maintain his own balance by grabbing Godwin with his right. Then a dart from Tom Brady arrived at the 18-yard line, Godwin pivoting his frame to welcome it as Lewis tumbled backward onto the field.

A push? Offensive pass interference? Anything flag-worthy about the contact exchanged on the 24-yard reception that set up the Buccaneers’ game-winning field goal?

“That’s Chris,” Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said after Tampa Bay’s 31-29 win. “He’s gonna fight for every inch and sometimes, you know he got a good lick on him. But he’s going to bounce right back and make that big play.”

Godwin said he wasn’t worried.

“No, no, no,” emphasized the receiver after catching nine of 14 targets for 105 yards, a touchdown and a fumble. “Never worry about offensive pass interference. Just try to go out there and make a play.

“I think it was a little hand-fighting on both parts. He had some good coverage, it was a great pass and I tried to make a play for my team.”

Yss it is PI. But its what the NFL wants. The NFL wants to gibe the offense a huge advantage. They allow this type of offensive PI. It is what it is. If you like NFL Football you have to be used to it by now. Its garbage but its exactly what the NFL wants.

This is exactly what I said last night. We have to focus down the stretch, even when you're tired you have to be fundamentally sound, and trust your QB to escape or throw the ball away if your man get's loose.

"Lets put the shoe on the other foot", what if the roles were reversed and we were down by 1pt. and driving down the field with seconds left on the clock needing a field goal to win.. Dak throws to Cee Dee and he PUSHES OFF then makes the catch.. does any true cowboy fan believe we'd get the same benefit from NFL refs of a NO-CALL in that situation?? HELL NO!!

Vea abused both Connors too.
He trucked Tyler & Cwill but I don't recall him trucking CMcG. I only remember one play where CMcG got pushed back significantly and I thought it was Suh. If you are sure it was VV, let me know the approximate time of the game and I'll go back and look for it.

Wasn't really that much of a push off imo. Good no call. Wasn't as bad as it looked live. Gotta let them play sometimes
