I would have left him in Tampa.
That would be very stupid. Any new guy that came in would probably be worse than him and another team would pick up Greg and he would kick well for them. You would shoot yourself in the foot and hurt the team.

you think Kyle Shanahan earned his job? The NFL is full of people that have dads, brothers and grandpas before them.
Well that’s not unusual example from outer space. But yes the NFL is full of people who got their jobs because of favoritism. Like the dad, the sons and daughters, and grandkids on the Dallas Cowboys. But it seems that an organization based on nepotism and favoritism doesn’t win anything on a regular basis… Like the Dallas Cowboys.

but the Bucs, who won a SB last year are a model of consistency..... if you forget about the 11 straight years of them missing the playoffs, they have won 2 SBs in the previous 7 seasons.

I really don’t know what Point you’re trying to argue relevant To the argument that nepotism is actually bad for an organization. Anyway have a good day and get back in touch when you come up with something relevant to the topic

It’s always hilarious in Dallas.

We refuse to address certain needs or being in no competition. Then when they stink they are shocked why

Competition runs counter to the country-club culture we crave at The Star.

I don't give him any grief for missing the 60, but the gimme extra point and FG was four easy points we left on the board.

Dude didn't look healthy and that's a problem.

Hardly any touchbacks was a huge issue the Bucs return man had 20 yards before anyone got near him then he picked up another 15 .

I knew he would keep him around even after this. He will lose another game for Dallas in the coming weeks. He is very inconsistent at the moment. When a kicker gets the yipps, bad news ... becomes a big mental block.

I don't think he has the yips. I think he has a bad back. He had back surgery in 2018 and he had back surgery this year. When you're doing something that puts major torque on your lower back, that's not a recipe for success.

Cowboys are just too loyal to see it. Should have brought in real competition for the job.

Whatever.

Who really thinks that if Tampa needed a TD at the end they wouldn't have gotten it?

Forbath out-played Zuerlein in 2020, but we had to keep Bones Fassel's buddy instead.

Meritocracy?

Not at all.

GZ had one job to do. I don't care if your coming off an injury or whatever...if a kicker can't make an extra point why tf is on the team?

Jeff Heath can make extra point kicks, let that sink in.
