If this is a team game, then ALL are responsible.
Offense because we only scored two touchdowns and settled for three field goals with two other field goal attempts proving unsuccessful.
We convert touchdowns instead of field goals we're at least at 34 points (kicker shanks an extra point), convert touchdowns on the field goal misses, we're up 48. You can't leave that many points off the board. Gotta score touchdowns.
Special teams because you've got to make your extra points and field goals. We convert the makeable field goal and the extra point, we force Tampa to score a touchdown instead of a field goal. They likely score a touchdown anyone, but you increase their margin of difficulty.
Defense because you have one job. STOP BRADY FROM GETTING TAMPA INTO FIELD GOAL RANGE!!! Your offense has been fighting all night long to stay up, to get the lead. It does, and you let the Bucs drive down the field and kick the winning field goal.
Also, no sacks.
Front office for hiring an offensive coordinator and allowing him to learn on the job when we need a skilled offensive coordinator to utilize the weapons we have on office, for not securing a veteran cornerback in the offseason and for hiring Mike McCarthy who has added NOTHING to the Cowboys. Even Campo was more visible than he. Oh, and the front office for developing a culture and an expectation that when push comes to shove, when the rubber meets the road and when the game is on the line, the Cowboys will find a way to lose. That is the scariest part of all. I knew the Cowboys were going to lose. I've become accustom to seeing this scenario time and again, especially when we play good teams. Oh, for the days of Staubach and the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys when you expected in the final seconds we would win the game.
