I say pull the trigger on him. Expensive? Yes. Old? Yes. Most competent available solution for RT? Definitely.

Collins’ suspension and the paper thin depth at OT makes this decision a no brainer. 10 days before our next game… we need to kick the tires at least.

There’s zero chance this happens. Not how the FO operates. At best we will poach an OT off someone’s practice squad.

McGovern has to start . Be interesting to see how he and Biadez the center graded out. Dak had time to go through his progressions .

Now Tyrone had his untimely holding penalty that dented a drive but if we can keep 77 healthy get Zack Martin back we can overcome Collins absence .

i have been asking for this several weeks now knowing something was going to happen to either TSmith or Collins....Okung can still play at least another year and is not coming off any injury. He could easily man that OT spot. If the FO is serious about dealing with this problem, get em Jerry. For Dak's sake. He is going to get picked up by some team soon due to need.

He got paid $13 million last season and missed 9 games. He missed 10 games the prior season.

He's 33 and turned down $6.5 million from the Steelers. He tweeted that they couldn't afford him.

He's still available for a few reasons - age, injuries, and an inflated view of what he is at this point.
