As far as scrambling. This isn't a knock Dak thread but there where a couple of times where he normally would have outrun a guy or turned the corner on another but he got caught. I could see it and it sucks cause it was a nice little extra weapon to use when everyone is covered. Hope he gains his mobility back or at least around 90% but thursday night he looked like mobility wise he was only around 60-70% what he used to be.

I'm fine with him not scrambling at all, too many things can go wrong

He was never that quick to begin with. Just a tough runner with his size. I really enjoyed his pocket presence this game though. He didn't panic, and roll out like he used to do. He stood there, and threw some darts.

This isn't a knock Dak thread so why are you knocking him for what you perceive as losing a step? Knocking Dak here is allowed so why not just own it? We can discuss that if you want to, it might be interesting.

Wow. Of course, Dak is going to lose a step and be a bit slower. How would anyone react after coming off of a major compound fracture and dislocated right ankle that required 2 surgeries and you had not played in any live game type of situation in 333 days since your major injury?

I guarantee anyone would be slower and have lost a step or two. It's going to take time for Dak to get back to 100% with his legs.....if he ever does. It's a miracle he was out there and played and moved around as good as he did. Let's be patient but give kudos to Dak.

Not a knock on Dak thread then you knock on Dak. Dak could never outrun a defender. He’s 6’2” 238. He ran a 4.79 at the Combine.

Your foolish, just stating that he's lost a step from the injury and yes he has scrambled many times and gotten many first downs to keep drives alive but your first reaction is to always start ****. No way your married, your a downer type.

Dak was never a burner. His run game is he can bulldoze his way for a few yards if needed.

Another one. u and rock head same simple mind. me stating he lost a step from injury isn't knocking him its just stating a fact. I swear the snowflakes around here and finger pointers are always out in u2. u guys are just 2 idiots.

Yeah but sometimes you need him to when coverage is there like on a 3rd and 4.

NOPE. An over reliance on scrambling will shorten any QBs career. It’s a nice weapon to have while they’re young but real QBs play from the pocket and only use their legs sparingly as necessary. Enforcing a scrambling Dak into the game plan is a recipe for disaster.

My first reaction is to prove you doubters wrong. He played a great game and yet you start a thread about him losing a step. Who’s the Debbie Downer?

Again simple minded rock head it’s not a knock Dak things it’s just a fact that he lost a step due to injury not sure how else to say it so it doesn’t get your panties in a bunch

Well I don’t think he has lost a step at all. And if you know anything about broken bones you would know that you end up stronger. He’s just playing smarter. He said a month or so ago that he was going to play smarter. Not go all out running like in the past, on 1st and 2nd down. That’s what you’re seeing and not him losing a step.

I think he looked slower because he was running out of bounds when he could, instead of lowering his shoulder and plowing forward
