Oddly, Dak seems relatively more accurate deep than short since 2019. Just doesn't place balls well behind the LOS, and sometimes on short passes too. It's a problem on a short field.
Receivers have more time to adjust on longer passes.

This should tell you folks that love stats so much that they lie sometimes.

Not to be taken to one extreme or the other. Just only to see through many eyes the outcome of game #1.

Question: how many times do you win the turn over ratio by 4 to 1? Win time of possession buy almost 10 mins. First downs and you name the rest and lose.

Now, Even though Dak was great, did the rest factor into the final score and give us somewhat of a false hope?

Just tell me I'm wrong and I'm good with that!

What do you think the score would have been if we would have lost 4-1?

I consider the 2 missed Greg Zuerlin field goals to be turnovers (no points and the other team got the ball back w/good field position) so really it was 4-3 (one of which was an end of half Hail Mary that got picked by us and those have like a .5% chance to get returned so that was kinda BS and wasn’t really a turnover imo. In addition, one of their other turnovers was on our 2 yard line so we had to drive 98 yards so that’s not really a monumental turnover unless we actually converted that into points; which we didn’t.

Lucky or unlucky you can not expect a QB to throw 58 times and not have something go wrong at some point. The game plan is to outscore the opponent. Gotta score in red zone more. Gotta go for it on 4th down more. FGs are meaningless.
