This isn’t 2016 anymore. Dak threw for more touchdowns, yards, and less interceptions than Rodgers and Mahomes did COMBINED against that same amazing defense in just 1 game compared to 2. We can win PLAYOFF games with his arm and a better defense.

Personally i want the offense to be balanced. We don't need Dak throwing 60 times a game and for sure not in the playoffs. You can't win against great teams being 1 dimensional all the time. You will have shoot outs but that shouldn't be the base offense

If zeke was not here you'd have no Dak.

And you act like you have SUCH awesome NFL knowledge? And everyone else is STUPID.

What the.....idiots everywhere...including when they act like it's OTHER people.

OC wants the passing game to rack up impressive stats. The running game consists of zeke up the middle of a horribly bad o-line, ande the game plan is to bring Pollard in when zeke raises his hand.....and abandon the run when "nothing works".

But it';s zeke's fault.

You guys...lol.

yeah GB just paid Aaron Jones nearly Zeke money and consequently lost their starting all-pro center, Corey Linsley, to the Chargers, following his friend Bryan Bulaga who left GB to LAC last year. As a consequence of these major OL losses, Rodgers' lack of pass protection will cost them big games this year
Those oline losses will also prevent them from having the blocking necessary for a Jones and the run game. That was wasted money that hurt the passing and running game.

For the last time... nobody wants Zeke and his albatross of a contract.
If I hear another person say to trade Zeke I'm gonna rip his tongue out.

No one will touch him . He has already done the damage to the cowboys cap with his guaranteed money and the usual slump that follows . Not to mention he is not very well admired by the GMs or Head coaches in the league . It is too late .

No.

The Cowboys didn't even try to run against the Buccaneers because they would have gotten into too many 3rd and long situations. I have to say the gameplan was brilliant Thursday night because there was no way Tampa Bay prepared for Dallas throwing that much.

Zeke will be more of a factor in games where the matchups up front are more favorable. Nobody runs on the Bucs and Dallas didn't play into their hands by trying.
Even if the cowboys ran more , zeke would not produce , he lost his burst .

yeah, losing Linsley and paying the running back is mind numbingly putrid... one Corey Linsley who was ranked #1 Center in the NFL last 2 years in both run and pass blocking, was an absolutely awful move... I'm sure Rodgers was pissed about that too

the Packers management dismantled 4 very good to elite offensive linemen out of a fab-5 that they had in 2014 that was virtually impenetrable. I don't blame Rodgers for being upset. Bakthiari is the last of the Mohicans. And he's been injured a lot lately, will miss significant time this year on PUP too

This isn't realistic. You can't just get the corner that you want because you want to. I have a feeling that we will see Wright or Joseph starting soon.
To be honest, the CB position is highly overrated by Cowboy fans. CBs do not win games in the NFL. With the rule changes over the years, the offense and passing game in particular has a big advantage over defensive secondaries. IMO, there has only been a handful of CBs worth a first round pick in the last decade. CBs can not have the impact in today’s game like they had when Prime Time was shutting half of the field down . CBs are not worth the big contracts in today’s game either. It is no longer a premium position that has a big impact in games.

Please post sources of GMs and coaches not liking him. I would like to read that

You dont pay big money on a RB period. You draft decent guys and spend that money on a good corner or DL/OL instead.

Zeke looked good and fast...playing behind an oline without his best blocker and for the first time as a group all offseaon....all against the best run defense in the NFL....

Just keep it in perspective, he was not a big part of the game plan which is why dak threw for over 400 while zeke was at 11 carries for 33 yards...

It's not like he had 25 touches for 55 yards, he was still over 3 yards a touch against the best run defense in limited envolement

Also- he was a critical part of why the passing game worked and dak was standing upright at the end of the game....his blitz pickups made a massive difference

He didn't have the yards but watch the tape and you will see a player that did a lot of the dirty work so that our passing game would succeed

$50 million for a blocking running back

WOOF

I love Zeke but I think we need to trade him.. heck I don't know why he isn't jumping up and down to get out of here. We clearly aren't going to use him.. agree the contract was too big (and said that at the time) and that limits the options but he looks hungry and ready to play.. but not a lot he can do with limited touches and bad play calling. Wasn't even given a chance to get into the game.

We are absolutely wasting money paying him.. I'd be actively shopping him around.
