The guy is overrated, period. If we needed a run stopping DE then we will have a different conversation. IDK how tf this guy performs during a contract year, FTag year and then disappears. It's the same thing with Jaylon - how do you go side to side and then can't do it anymore?

Jaylon - probably rehabbed his a** off to get on the field. Once paid - that ethic is no more and it's very, very hard to get back there a third time physically.

Dlaw - I do not even expect this guy to get a sack. At all. He will be rated by another corporate entity like PFF as an elite run defender - you guys all know how this works. Eye test, against RT he is literally not there anymore I need the guy to have 10+ sacks. You look at other DE's around the league i.e. Max Crosby from last night and think wow imagine we had someone like that. Very disappointed and I've given him a very long leash for years now.

$100 million for a run-stopping DE. That’s what Jerry paid. We could get that elsewhere for 1/4 the price.

It amazes me how many people on this forum are still willing to go to bat for him. If you’re making $100 million, you better be getting 10+ sacks. Every. Single. Year.

Lawrence is supposed to be the guy who gets those clutch sacks and hurries; he’s supposed to be the main defensive difference maker.

When’s the last time he made a late-game, meaningful play? His rookie year against the Lions in the playoff game?

Most people give him a pass stating he gets lots of attention. The problem with that that idea is other players get as much or more attention but still get sacks.

Defense is about teams work. Get rid of D-Law and we'll be in need of two DE's. His pressure (and prescense) should allow gaps for others to exploit, i'm sure Micah's going to be a big beneficiary in the weeks to come.

It would be nice if he’d beat his man once, quickly, on a pass and apply some real pressure.

A sack would be too much to ask at this point.

We all point to a lot of plays/reasons we lost to Brady. Again.

No pass rush should be looked at as one of the main reasons.

I didn't want Dallas to re-sign him, but what's done is done. I do know that the QB can elude one guy in the backfield, so DLaw needs a running partner. But then again so those Diggs.
