Yes... he is worse than Chaz Green. Green was at least 3rd round talent. Steele is UDFA trash picked up off the street. Should probably be driving a truck or hauling stuff at Lowe's or Menard's or Home Depot.
Ah yes.

Remember Tony Romo was also UDFA trash picked up off the street too.

He still never had a Green bad game. Chaz Green gave up 5 sacks in 1 game. Even if he gave up a 4 sack game it wasn't as bad as Green
Interesting thing on Sirius today was our former OL coach Paul Alexander talking about 5 sack games since Taylor Lewan just did it facing Chandler Jones. Said he would have pulled him. Once you get to three it is not your day

Or at the least put a TE on that side to help him or send a RB, something. Dallas just left him on an island like he was Tyron Smith

I think I'm ok with this. Maybe I shouldn't be. I actually prefer to have our best guard at guard. Steel got better as the year went on last year. Yes, it's concerning that his wasn't better at camp this year. but I haven't counted him out for being serviceable. Mainly I hope that we see some TE help over there with a name on the jersey other than Jarwin.

I literally just said the same thing. When they threw Chaz Green out there....the left him on an island. Even after he was nothing more than a turnstile, they left him by himself. It was literally one of the craziest things I've ever seen.

he interviewed McCarthy and gave him the job because McBurgers agreed to be a "yes man"... Garrett wasn't quite a yes man enough because he said no whenever Jerry offered him the extra large greasy chicken platter with a complementary baker's dozen box of doughnuts.

Well articulated and very accurate. This whole 25 season nightmare could be ended if Jerry “he really wants to win” Jones would hire a real GM and a strong head coach but that scenario is like believing in Big Foot & Unicorns. The even worse news is that there are generations of Jones’s waiting to step into the GM role.

Coaches should have been fired right after the game. It's that much of a blunder

Didn't we all discuss last year that all it means is that he is starting....in no fashion should we expect him to play there the entire game is there? Surely they will move him out if Dak takes a couple hits? And, "don't call me Surely"..

I was stunned today when I realized that the last time our three best offensive lineman- Ty Smith, Zack Martin and La’El Collins all played together in a regular season game was in 2019. Those are three of the highest paid linemen in the NFL and they haven’t played together in two years.

I think fans are still shell-shocked over how long we left Chaz Green in against Atlanta.

Not sure why they won’t slide Martin out. Maybe the OL coach knows something we don’t?

Remember when we passed on #Slater so we could draft “defense” ….

I thought it would be the hip that went first on LC.

100% agree. There was no excuse for the decisions they made that day with regards to protection. Dak took a step backwards after that game. He probably left that game with a QB's version of PTSD.

Not to mention we haven't had an o-line healthy enough to be elite for 2-3 years now.

Not that this is earth shattering, but why does JJ announce this stuff on a radio show? It makes no sense,
1. Don’t announce who’s going to start at all. Let your opponent have to prepare for multiple possibilities.
2. If you MUST announce it, let your head coach do it.

SMDH.

He's the owner, he can say whatever he wants

Shoot, you don't own the team and you won't shut the hell up about what needs to be done.
