Wrong..

Noah Brown is the guy and I bet that is how it will eventually play out.

Watch out for a Noah Brown breakout at some point over this next month.
I like Brown’s skill set. But man…how many years is he gonna get to finally emerge? This is his 5th season with the Cowboys and last year has been his best year with 14 receptions. At some point, don’t you have make it difficult for the team not to play you?

Cedric Wilson is clearly a much more versatile player. He’s caught 25 passes for 2 TDs in 4 seasons- not great. But he’s also thrown a TD, and is a decent punt returner on STs. Brown and Wilson are about the same size but Wilson to me is more valuable to the team.

Wilson was an absolute stud at Boise State. He came down with everything thrown his way. He is a very dynamic player and I believe he will continue to do so with this opportunity.

We should trade Gallup if he is gone after this year anyways, lets get a good corner or DT.

I think they will replace Gallup with Pollard/Wilson and Zeke/Schultz on passing plays. Zeke and Schultz will bolster the blocking on the right side of the line with Steele out there on passing plays. Pollard and Wilson will play Gallup's role. On running plays I think you see Zeke/Pollard and a combination of Schultz/Brown. Both Brown and Schultz are better blockers than Jarwin. I don't think you can run an empty back field much with Steele in the lineup unless it's a quick backside screen.

I think how you fill Gallup's role is going to be decided more by the need to mitigate the loss of Collins than the loss of Gallup.

How can anyone forget the immortal Devin Smith?

Actually seeing Jaylon Guyton and his 4.3 speed with the Chargers/Hubert, makes me wish he could've turned out better for us.

i do like that Kellen loves speed and we've tried ( albeit without success) to implement that element into our WR corp.
Jaylon Guyton, ..Reggie Davis, Jon 'Vea.. Devin smith, and now supposedly 5th rounder Simi Feheko.

i don't expect anything to be added or changed in terms of the passing game.
if we do any 2 TE sets, i think it will be more to chip and help out mediocre Terrence Steele (yes,..here we go again) than what it will mean or added to a pass game.

i do worry that if Cedrick Wilson (who also helps out as a punt returner) gets dinged up, we're down to only Noah Brown and Simi Feheko.

I think you meant Wilson and Dak. Wilson has been reported to have stayed at Dak's house in the offseason so they could roll out of bed and work... Their rapport is legendary. And Wilson was on pace for about a 700 yard season last year before Dak went down.
hmmm

awee,...
