This isn’t unlucky, it’s what happens when you have a Jerry level of tolerance to risk in the draft and when handing out contracts.

Well, I think our DE depth just hit the crapper. I don't see Gregory turning into LT anytime soon, even if he plays this week. We better score about 40 points this week because we will need every one of them.

I know we have nobody respectable behind La'el and Demarcus (that could always change in an off-season) but it's time to let guys like them go this off-season if they don't come out and play like all pro's when they return. Sometimes a message is worth the drop off in talent. It feels like a third of our salary cap is on IR, covid, or suspended right now

The scary part is the d-line was already thin on talent before injuries all while the secondary was weak and the o-line injuries/aging......any injuries to the o-line and it's another tanked season with this team in serious rebuild mode.

Do you keep up with our roster management? Next man up does not apply here. Our depth is terrible outside of WR and maybe LB? The rest is junk.
Felt like we've had one starter out in one game we've played and his backup played really well. I didn't see him listed though

Bone breaks are unlucky, if it was a reoccurring soft tissue injury limiting his availability I would understand your point.

Funny how both Dez and Lawrence break their foot after missing pre-season. Almost like their bodies were under prepared for the workload and resulted in something breaking.

go get Curtis Weaver off the Browns practice squad. He had 34 sacks in college and he was also the only defensive player in college football to ever average 9.5 sacks or better during a three-year stint. He hasn't played a game yet in the NFL because of injury and he would be cheap... with only 4.5mil of cap space you kind of have to go cheap. The general rule for most pass rushers is if you get sacks in college you get sacks in the NFL; worth a shot

Honestly...I am not sure how much I like Lawrence anyways.. I guess I'll miss his Run stopping productivity but when you name your Defense "Hot Boyz" and refuse to give autographs to children (even if they are fans of another team) you lose points with me. Never been a huge fan, I mean he's a good player but he gets paid a lot so I DO NOT feel sorry for him at all....
