Mr Parsons needs to play linebacker. He has a lot to learn about playing at the professional level. Cut his teeth early so maybe by half way through the season he is a bit mo savy.

The Dallas Cowboys front office is paying other dudes millions of combined dollars to play that position...let'em do it.

Go Cowboys!

Shows that Parsons was the perfect pick. If we would have picked a corner we would have no pass rusher.

Parsons is really good when the play is in front of him and he's on the attack.

Do it.

Don't forget that Randy White started and LB till they found his true calling at DE.

You use what you have.

The Cowboys have depth at LB. They need a DE that actually have the potential to get sacks.

I don't believe that Parsons could hold up against the run. From what I remember, doesn't Urban also play DE?

I would say use Parsons on obvious passing plays, rotate Urban in there on short down situations

....that's tuffy. I suppose on certain downs. Parsons has such good instincts, his radar ability beeps from LB position best.

Thats what I was thinking. He has to slide into one of those DE spots. We can't afford to have him dropping back into coverage as he might be the only guy on defense capable of generating a pass rush.

might be one of the few who can cover as well.

Until he gets a actual sack or pressure at DE I'd like to stop hearing the hype about it

And if he can’t get pressure we still have nobody that can cover.

We just need Byron Jones or a vet that’s of that quality. Our pass defense is suffering because of that horrible decision.

This could be promising. A guy like Parsons is such an asset to have.

Parsons listed as 6' 3" 245 pounds

DLaw listed as 6' 3" 265 pounds

Similar size and what would happen if Parsons does play some LDE and gets sacks and pressures in DLaw's time away? With DLaw having a 2022 salary cap hit of $27M with $19M in dead money does Dallas look to trade DLaw in the off-season if Parsons shows up as a pass rusher?????

The same Byron Jones that cost us the game against GB in 2016? Or the same Byron Jones who was graded as the one of the worst players at his position last season?
