Averaging 2 INT's a season.

He gets away with calling himself a "ballhawk" while Jaylon gets ripped for calling himself "dominant'.

Aren't they pretty much sharing the same ego?

Maybe he can turn his career around precisely when the Cowboys could really use that from him. What are the odds?

Lol, remember he’s averaging 2 INT’s a season while averaging 4 games a season playing. Quite a yield by that ratio.

The news heading into Week 2 isn't all bad for the Dallas Cowboys, as difficult as that might be to fathom right now. After all, they're currently enduring waves of unfortunate news headlined by the suspension of starting right tackle La'el Collins, a multi-week injury to both Michael Gallup (calf) and All-Pro pass rusher DeMarcus Lawrence (foot), and questions on if Randy Gregory will clear the COVID-19 protocol in time to take the field against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. However, former first-round pick Malik Hooker might give them something to smile about.

Not only are the Cowboys welcoming back perennial All-Pro right guard Zack Martin from the reserve/COVID-19 list, but Hooker, who signed on late in training camp, is expected to make his debut for Dallas in Week 2, sources tell CBS Sports and news team executive Stephen Jones spoke about earlier this week. This would put another defensive playmaker on the field after losing at least one, keeping the degree of difficulty for quarterback Justin Herbert more level than it otherwise would've been if Hooker wasn't on the roster.

Stephen is showing that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. No other GM or GM’s son, talks to the media as much as the Jones family. I don’t know much about Hooker, but I am excited anytime that the safety position gets a possible upgrade after all of these years of being ignored.

Hooker should start at FS, Kazee at SS if Wilson won't play. Even if Wilson plays he's the 3rd best safety on the team due to his lack of great speed and coverage ability.
Kazee is a horrible tackler. He's be a disaster at SS.

Comparing those two to Wilson is apples to oranges. They different S's

they play cover 2 with a guy like Cox or Neal in the Tampa role, it could be very effective. We just need corners that can play physical and tackle, PBU or pick off shorter passes and safeties that are smaller and can cover very well in the deep game and are rangy... that's Hooker and Kazee. Tackling less important for the deep safeties in cover-2, though they are the last line of defense. Diggs is an excellent tackling corner, as is Lewis. Brown, not so much, though he has made a few good tackles... tackling might actually be the best part of Brown's game. And Joseph is a good tackler when he's healthy, he certainly has the ideal size for a tackling CB.

Kazee is a horrible tackler? He is responsible for the hit stick tackle that forced the ball out of Godwin's hands and gave us the chance to win in week 1...

7 picks in only 35 starts is good. His problem is he can't stay healthy.

But we dunno if he is even close to being back to his pre-injury form. He is cleared to play but we dunno about his playing speed.
It's still a quite wait and see look, imo . i have very low expectations.
