well, pretty much, a good portion of my life revolves around the NFL and the Cowboys schedule during the season. Planning out which Cowboys games we are gonna go to. My wife just showed me a snapchat, instagram.... whatever the heck it is my daughter number 3 uses, where she created a video montage using video from one of our trips to Arlington a few years back. It was absolutely awesome to see that video with all of us (me, wife, and 4 daughters) having so much fun the entire weekend of a game.

Well for the first time since the 2019 season, we are heading back out. all of us, minus daughter number 2 will get to be at the game tomorrow. Since we live in Ca, this is a quick in and out for us. We are flying into socal at 8am and back home Monday morning. Daughter number 3 attends UCLA and will be picking us up at the airport and we will get to go have breakfast before the game.

This is why we do games. I get to spend amazing quality time sharing the team that brings me more joy and heartache than anything in my life besides my family. (not the heartache with the family, lol).

We are packed and so ready to to check out that new stadium. Cant wait.

Oh, then the following weekend, we get to do it all over as we have turned opening game in Dallas into a family tradition. I think, not counting last year, we have been to maybe the previous 8 Home Openers.

So for those that tell us that attend the games how stupid we are for wasting our money..... it is money very well spent.

Damn I hope we get the W tomorrow!

I’ll be driving down from Santa Barbara early in the morning. The plan is for an early lunch at El Coyote(infamous restaurant involving Manson and Sharon Tate) then head to the game……as long as LA traffic cooperates

Living in Ohio while feeling jealous of you Cali boys, at least for a day.

Go get us a win, and enjoy.

Super fan alert. Coaching doesn’t matter. Dak sucks and caused Garrett to get fired.

Have fun and be safe. I'm jealous I'm not going. Be interested to hear any stories you have about the experience.

What is "socal"? I don't know that word. I thought you may be just misspelling "social" but it doesn't make sense in any of the sentences where you used it. I'm in Texas so maybe I don't speak the same language where you are.

I don't know either the only time I have ever heard it is when I was visiting somewhere in Southern California, never hear it in Texas.

The rest of the known universe recognizes it as Southern California. Not sure what the problem is in Texas. I grew up in the SE and have known what SoCal was my entire life.

Enjoy sir and travel safely.

I don't read every post but if people around here have said that to you....its a new level of ridiculous, but it's also no more than jealousy and you know that.

Maybe post some pics of the venue if you have time.

Again....enjoy and be safe. I expect about 65% Cowboys fans today.

If you’re going to feed the beast then I’d recommend using the Cowboys Travel Club.

You stay at the Cowboys hotel. Get to meet and greet the players , have breakfast with one of the coaches , receive Cowboys Travel Club gear and ride in same buses caravan to the game while sitting in same seats amongst over Cowboy fans traveling to the game avoiding sitting next to hostile opposing fans .

It’s all inclusive including tickets. All you have to do is provide you’re airfare or transportation to the hotel. It’s a great fan experience .

As the spokesperson for "the rest of the known universe", I appreciate you taking the time to give your 2 cents.

Have fun brother .. I really missed going to the games last year.. After living in NoCal for 30 years I finally wised up and moved to DFW in 2019 and made it to one game that year. Was really looking forward to making a few more in 2020.. Hopefully I will get to a few this year. With my daughter dancing with the KC Ballet I am seriously considering heading up there for our game against them. I've never seen a game at Arrowhead.. seems like a bucket list goal to me..
