Funny, the won't move Martin to RT to preserve continuity, but they will move Parsons to DE? I know they are short on DEs but do they have less faith in Basham and Armstrong than they do in Steele?

Anyway, I would rather have Parsons blitzing up the middle and preventing Herbert from staying in the pocket.

So we like our guys at DE ? Isn’t that why we never trade or sign good free agents ?

Not smart to just “move him to DE” without actually playing that position at training camp and having real prep for it.

sure rush him off the edge more, but if they put Parsons at DE and then put trash (Jaylon) at LB. it ain’t gonna help.
I suspect that we will see Cox play some linebacker.

IF this is true then its really sad. It means they have zero confidence in their backup DE's.

But the worst part is that it means a heavy does of Jaylon Smith. That is gong to destroy our run defense.
Parsons can be a dominant pass rusher.

I don't recall seeing Parsons rushing off the edge at PSU, I could be wrong. Looked like #11 was an absolute monster out quicking C and OGs rushing up the middle.

Why even have some these backup DEs if you're just gonna move your Rookie MLB into that position? It might work, but seems a bit weird to me.

Put them both at 3-4 OLB... Jaylon and Parsons. LVE, Neal and Cox can all play inside. As for Jaylon and Micah... Rush em both sometimes, sometimes drop one. Confuse the Chargers offense.

LVE had a 70% completion rate on him last season. Like Jaylon the Cowboys take him off the field in passing situations. Don’t be blind, the Cowboys think equally about them.
Devin White in 2020:
83.3% completion rate when targeted
109.6 QB rating when targeted

"#Cowboys are shifting LB Micah Parsons to DE".......for 1 snap, just to change it up..... they seek him here they seek him there, they seek that Micah Parsons everywhere.

No wonder this organization has been so bad for that long. We have a guy that can be an elite LB but we just switch his position into one that could get him injured. Let's make Dak return punts too while we're at it.

Michah is 6’3” 245 LBs

he’s gonna be ok.
