If you have Dak below the Top 7, I can't take you seriously

Its not my fault that you can't see that Herbert is a good QB. When your team loses the game that doesn't mean you're bad. The better QB doesn't always win the game. We say that last week.

I NEVER said the coaches should be up set over anything. I said that the coaches should still properly evaluate play even after a win.
Haters just can't help themselves! Lol!!!!

He also took a bad sack, threw another ball that should have been picked in the end zone, and we weren’t able to attempt a Hail Mary at the end of the first half potentially because they don’t Want to risk injury to his arm again.

There just seems to be no room for middle ground with many people.’
Some truly think he played elite today. They're so lost in the star that it's crazy. They really can't see anything.

Call it what you want.
Ill take Justin Herbert on a rookie deal anyway.
And so would anyone without a full frontal lobotomy.

Are you not another one I can find the Just win crap? Herbert lost but go right ahead as a matter of fact he literally threw the game away in the redzone...did he not?

Good, but I'd think you'd also be able to properly evaluate him and let him know that play like that is not going to win very many games and he needs to be better than that, right?
Not 5 minutes later. I'd let the win soak in, enjoy and break down film in the morning......get to work after that. Enjoy it man!

It sad that many of you can't just enjoy a win without crapping all over it 5 seconds later.

Stop ranking Dak like that even matters, good or bad.
  • Don Meredith was a great QB who turned a new franchise into a winner, but no one thought he was one of the top QBs of his era.
  • Roger Staubach was a great QB who played in 4 Super Bowls, winning 2, but no one argues that he was the best QB of his era.
  • Troy Aikman was a great QB, winning 3 Super Bowls, but no one places him as the top QB of his era.
Dak is our franchise QB, and he will be for several years, minimum, so stop saying he’s a bum and stop ranking him in the top tier of QBs. Try rooting your tail off for him and the Cowboys. Like every QB who has ever played for Dallas, he will have great games and some bad games. Whether he finishes his career in the Hall of Fame, sitting on the side with Romo and Meredith, or even something less remains to be seen, but if he brings us wins, playoffs, and maybe a championship, that’s good enough for me.

Elway was 38 when he won a SB. Unitas was 37. We judge way too much, way too early. It’s okay to point out DAK’s bad games or mistakes, but a few games do not make him great or awful. Fans should try to enjoy the games more.

Really... no he did not play as good as he did last Thursday, but man after 8 months of you saying "I dont care about stats just win" you should probably not knock him for his stats in a win. Obviously the Chargers did not load the box today and Herbet literally threw the gam away..but YOU can actually stand here and tell me "HERBERT HAD BETTER STATS IN A LOSs AND HE IS BETTER" you dont see the irony in this?

They both played bad. Herbert just played less bad. I don't care if you agree or not.

If I say that then i'd have to go back and say Brady was better than Dak last week because his team won and I don't believe that.

I'm like Belichick. On to the next one.

But, you're right. I should take time to enjoy it to.
I was a real tyrant when I was a young coach....I learned to appreciate the wins, my players, my staff etc....I'm sorry, but I get lit up when I hear negativity.....I know it's part of the game, but if you've seen and heard thousands of fans ripping one of your players for fumbling the ball, it pisses you off. I appreciate you!
