This is such a pick and choose sentiment considering Cooper is coming back from one of the best games of his career against Tampa AT Tampa
Do i need to show you ALL of his road splits since hes been here???

TO if you consider him a Cowboy is a HOF WR and one of the best to play here. Other than being a diva and the occasional ill timed drop he is one of the best to ever do it. I agree we got some blind homerism run amuk all of a sudden. It is a long season so buckle up.

Cooper has come up clutch when the team has needed him. You can't find that in a stat easily.

Amari's good, but Dez was better in his prime.

Better hands, better in the red zone, better back shoulder, better high pointing, better at powering over CBs into the endzone.

Amari is a great route runner.

Amari is better for Dak. There wouldn’t have been a 2012-2014 Dez if Dak was the qb. Dez was a physically mismatch for most Db’s but you have to give him chance at the ball and as we saw early on with Dak that wasn’t possible because Daks ball placement isn’t on the level of Romo. Witten was old but he fell off soon as Dak took over too.

that pass to Jarwin in the endzone that was almost and should’ve been intercepted was dissatisfying and is/will always be my biggest issue with Dak: Ball placement. Tony killed in the red zone with less weapons. You gotta be able to throw in tight areas. The closer we get to the endzone, the more limited Dak becomes. I shouldn’t be holding my breath when he throws over the middle in the red zone. He best pass in the redone is the drag route which is also the safest route you can run..

I seen Josh Allen progress and make some passes last year I just didn’t think he as capable VOT doing based off his first two year but he deepened his bag… Dak needs to do this too. Opps are playing some disrespectful red zone defense against us where they basically are daring us to beat them with Daks arm

TO and Dak would not have worked. It would’ve turned into a To/McNabb or TO/Garcia situation.

Depends on what you value.

I lean towards Amari because the best attribute a player can have is availbility. Dez had the higher upside but had what, 3 amazing years out of the 9 or 10 years he was under contract ?

I really don't give a crap that Dez "had a madden esque all-pro year" if the end result is laying an egg after he signed his 5 year extension.

These guys like Amari, Frank Gore, Donald Driver are under-rated, give me someone 85% as good that's actually going to have a long franchise career

I don’t understand how people can say Dez is better than Amari

Dez could make the splash play but Amari has been more consistent than dez
100%.

Guys like Michael Thomas, Beckham Jr, and Dez have higher upside but higher upside is pointless if you spend majority of your 2nd contract on the bench......

Amari is like my man Tim Duncan, he isn't flashy so his consistency goes under appreciated, his dominance doesn't show until you tally the stats. Better for us than TO, for sure.
You really comparing Amari Cooper to Tim Duncan?
The great TD, who'll go down in NBA history as one of the best PFs ever?
Really?

You people are hilarious, the comparison is their approach to their profession, and how it is under appreciated because they aren't flashy...

I don't know if I would say Coop is the best WR we've had in two decades.

If you are talking about route running, I think that is a fair assessment. He is an amazing route runner.

If you are talking consistency, if he puts up 1,000+ yards and 5+ TDs again this year, then he can join that conversation.

But if you are talking flat out production, we've had TO and Dez, then add that Coop hasn't even had a "Miles Austin" year yet (1,300 yards, 11 TDs), and I think that pretty much shoots the production side of things down.

If you want to look at pure production, Coop has been having Terry Glenn circa 2005, 2006 seasons as a Cowboys receiver.

I really like Cooper, and he IS the #1 WR of this team right now, but if I'm going to be truthful and fair, TO, Dez and for at least 1 year, Austin all had years as Cowboys that Cooper has yet to produce in his NFL career.

Time will tell if this post ages well, but as of now, no, Coop may not even be in the Top-3 of Cowboys receivers in the past 20 years.

But ... he's easily the most likeable, so I AM rooting for the guy.

You're kidding, right?
Duncan was so good, and efficient, he didn't need to be flashy.
No one knows what Amari does for 85% of the game.
He is a no show.

Lamb is better

Cooper pulled today what he often pulls. A disappearing act. Not sure the issue with him. He also will get ticky tak injuries that hold him back.

Lamb is the new #1 and will be the consistent weapon in the passing game.
Lamb may be the best one day
He isn’t now
And he made a huge play in the game at just the time we needed a big play
