I don't know if I would say Coop is the best WR we've had in two decades.
If you are talking about route running, I think that is a fair assessment. He is an amazing route runner.
If you are talking consistency, if he puts up 1,000+ yards and 5+ TDs again this year, then he can join that conversation.
But if you are talking flat out production, we've had TO and Dez, then add that Coop hasn't even had a "Miles Austin" year yet (1,300 yards, 11 TDs), and I think that pretty much shoots the production side of things down.
If you want to look at pure production, Coop has been having Terry Glenn circa 2005, 2006 seasons as a Cowboys receiver.
I really like Cooper, and he IS the #1 WR of this team right now, but if I'm going to be truthful and fair, TO, Dez and for at least 1 year, Austin all had years as Cowboys that Cooper has yet to produce in his NFL career.
Time will tell if this post ages well, but as of now, no, Coop may not even be in the Top-3 of Cowboys receivers in the past 20 years.
But ... he's easily the most likeable, so I AM rooting for the guy.
