It was a very bad decision but the excuse for it was even worse. But the head coach had to sign off on the attempted block. This coach has shown a serious lack of football IQ. I heard the stories from some media personnel about him, some calling him a fraud and even questioning is football IQ. I am totally buying it now.

We will see the end result.

This might be the dumbest thing a coach has uttered in Dallas is quite some time and that's saying something given some of the coaches we have had and the stupid things they've said.

I don’t think a team should ever go for a punt block in any situation.

Blocked punts happen so rarely and roughing the kicker penalties happen so often that the risk isn’t even remotely close to the reward.

No we are the type of fans that want routine plays made on special teams. We don't need to be the smartest special teams in the league on every special teams play.

We just want punts caught, extra points made and getting past the 25 on kick offs.

Really not that hard.

I don't mind Fassel. I think he's trying to do things to win games, but he's got to be smarter about the situation. He's an aggressive-minded coach who needs to be reeled in at times.

Gotta give him some credit for trying. Just keep it simple. Players got to make good decisions, though the contact with the kicker was from being blocked into him from the angle I saw.

spec teams has GOT to be better moving forward.
i loved this hire in the beginning but i'm disappointed in this side of the ball so far.
it's better than under garrett...but thats not saying much.
