You realize the biggest guys from Rogers era, guys like DT Alan Page only weighed around 240 lbs, right? That's what Jaylon Smith weighs. Jaylon Smith is the same weight as the greatest defensive tackle of Rogers era.

Brady is going against defensive tackles like Aaron Donald that is 280 lbs with a 6-pack.

So, 190 pound Roger won't get killed, but 230 pound Brady would? Get outta here.

Seriously...did you watch those games? Clothesline was a real thing...hand stomping getting kicked in the head. If they actually hit the QB its a penalty now ...again let see Brady take a flying elbow to the head from mean Joe 3 seconds aftetr the ball left.

Dak wanted less money and shorter contract last year....Jerry wanted longer and more money...hmmm, so wanting less was getting more. and he was tagged. he didn't talk in public. he didn't talk to media. it was you, people like you, fans like you and the media that made it a public discussion. the dak stans vs. dak haters like yourself. but hey, blame Dak....he is responsible for global warming as I have heard....

and I find it funny, you use Dez as a reference of someone sane who has never ever said anything that was controversial. oookk then.....

there is no bottom to your shamelessness is there? anytime I think he can't get any more more shameless and make up more stories, you out do yourself. like I said try writing a fictional book, you have natural talent

When Dak was franchised, he basically held an interview on TV saying his demands were all about respect. This was after the 2019 season when he accomplished zilch and floundered around. The amount of excuses this FO made for his play and continued to adjust the offense for him, while he flat out tried to play the respect card was laughable.

Then in his other contract year, not only were his boys on Twitter yapping, his brother was throwing out the details on social media. Acting like Dak had no say in this, is delusional.

The difference is, people knew that Zeke’s suspension exposed Dak. Even Jerry flat out said at 2017, it was a learning experience for Dak. On the other hand, everybody knew the Raiders were dysfunctional and Carr was playing for trash.

I mean we’ve consistently heard how Dallas is a SB contender. Even the Dak-stand were yapping in the off-season last year to start 2020, we were primed and ready with all these offensive weapons.

But the Dak-fans were primed with excuses with Collins suspension. Suddenly, Dallas was playing a more talented SD roster per his fans on this forum….
Nobody had SD as a SB contender.
who said dallas was a superbowl contender? Jerry? so now you are quoting Jerry and Dez...oookkk then

No but I understand reality then compared to now. There is a reason they do not allow all that anymore. Helmet to helmet was a taught thing not a no no.

Brady expects a penalty when a defender touches his feet on a play.....your ignoring reality if you think he would not take WAY more hits back then...and there was no "Hit Zone" it was kill the QB thats your job.

You're stuck in the past.

You could hit the QB on the helmet and go at his knees. DBs could put their hands on the WRs and launch themselves off the ground, meaning they could spear a WR going over the middle. DL could slap the helmet of the OL as well. Deacon Jones was known for that. You can go on YouTube and watch for that in particular.

It’s a completely different game that has made offense easier.

The closest example you probably got in this era is when Peyton Manning’s record setting offense within Denver went up against the LOB in the SB, who were allowed to get away with some of the aggressive type of play that defenses were allowed to get away with regularly back in the 90s, let alone earlier, and the Seattle DBs completely stifled that offense. Manning couldn’t even move against the Patriots come play-off times, let alone against the LOB, because of the aggressive DB play. Brady’s numbers were pretty mediocre statistically while winning SBs, meaning it was really their defense. The Giants stifled that 2007 offense, because of the pressure up front, which was where those defense of past were at.

Nowadays you even got to pull up and not hit a WR in certain instances.

First of all Alan Page was considered undersized even for that era. The Raiders and Steelers both talked about how easy they thought it would be to move him off the ball and both went right out and did just that when they met. Second I hope you aren't sitting here trying to say he was better than Joe Greene (who was 275) , Randy White (who was 260), et al. Thirdly.. Brady has the benefit of legalized holding and a complete ban on hitting the QB.. Finally Roger was 200 not 190.. and he DID actually get killed. He missed several games due to injury over his career and was limited to a 9 year career because of the hits he took. So yes.. a statue like Brady playing in an era when linemen could NOT hold and defenders could clobber the QB would get killed..

Seeing you post all this inaccurate information about the guys of yesteryear makes me think you are either very young or you just weren't paying much attention back in the 60's and 70's.

Exactly....there was no player brotherhood then..they didn't like each other and were in fact going for injury on most tackles.

Go ahead I'm taking Roger because Ive seen him live and thrive in that..Brady ..its pretty much known he dont like to get hit. And he is going to get hit in that era.
The lineman back then only have about 20 pounds on Brady.

Easy work.

He would have been destroyed by the steel curtain or doomsday defense before it was even half time

Not a bad list I wouldn't have Trevor on any list just yet it's too soon but of the top 10 looks good even though Watson is a?

He's ok.
But he doesn't do anything extraordinary.
He's been just ordinary.
If he's top 7, there must not be that many good QBs in the league.
