If you have Dak below the Top 7, I can't take you seriously

Pretty good list. The drop off after the top 4 is substantial. Lamar Jackson should be #5 IMHO with Watson at #6. After that there is a large group from #7 to #15 that are pretty interchangeable. Dak can reasonably be put anywhere from #7 to #12 IMHO depending on what and who you like. Cousins, Rivers, Ryan and Tannehill all should at least get an honorable mention.

i probably should've had Cousins ahead of Trevor L. at this point, but anyone that's watched Matt Ice Ryan, can see that
he's running on fumes and his last legs. In a QB rich draft class, i thought they were one of teams that should've very heavily considered Matt Jones and moving away from Ryan.

Err... somewhat of a News Flash: - Phillip Rivers has retired.

I have praise Dak repeatedly especially when he played great in the first 2 games . I was impressed with him a after the injury . But you seem to take any criticism of him or even any rating below elite for Dak as hatred , which is absurd , you keep repeating the word hatred . That I find strange .
All I am saying is is he 7-9 in ranking , based on some comparison backed with Super Bowls and on field accomplishments.
Let’s hope he does take the cowboys to a deep playoff run now that we have a good defense and rhe other excuses. ( Garrett etc ) are no longer valid .
I don't....I may have lumped you in with Khilidi and for that I apologize. no one is that hateful.

two?

Well that settles it. Romo had self-made all pros all over the place.

How long did they play after that?
Well, we went from 0 to 2 and now the goalposts have moved to how long they played afterwards. I thought the point was that no player played with Romo, left and then made the pro bowl, was it not?

I did say that but you are taking it out of context. That was one sentence.....a package deal.

3 online AND a very high 1st round RB stud". They then got rid of Dez and added a another 1st round WR.

Tony was SUPPOSED to have it....

In the need we'll never know but Tony's last drive....is an indication of what a vet QB would have done with all that talent.

No...I'm not "hating on Dak". I thought he did very well for a rook.
Romo did have it though. What you said was wrong, nothing to take out of context.

Romo had plenty of talent in different years so let's stop acting like Dak has had talent but not Romo. Romo has had the more overall talented team including a defense that had back to back shut out games.

He was proven wrong on that crazy post but still trying to argue. Not sure what his point is but it's wrong

"In different years"....yes....I have already agreed.

But not in the same year. Like dak's 2016.
It's just an opinion....looks like we'll have to accept a civil disagreement about it?

Haha thanks for the update. Rivers was a bum anyway.

Did I say zero?
Maybe I did....I initially asked and I don't think I ever specifically said "zero".

So moving goal posts, eh?

We could be straying off point, and probably my fault. I think 2016...all on it's own....was an extremely loaded team that is rare, especially for a rookie. That did well with it.
I don't think romo had all those pieces in one single year....

I guess it's not worth arguing over...so here's my towel.

Why is it whenever someone hears a different opinion they turn to "hope I don't offend anyone."
You couldn't possibly offend me.
It's a general statement that can't really be proven outside an opinion. You could say that about every franchise QB. And OF COURSE Romo helped Wrs, he is throwing them the ball after all.
Then why are we going back and forth.

Ido admit...and apologize.... for my uncivil first reply.

Well I think after 2 games he is 6th in yards and 3rd in completion %.. But it’s only been 2 games.

Romo had Tyron Smith, Zack Martin, Travis Frederick and Dez Bryant all in the same year. What are you taking about in different years. Stop sounding silly with your comments

Romo had the same exact team only difference in 2016 was Dak and Zeke.

Romo, besides 3 first round OL, first round WR also had Murray who broke cowboys records.

Stop with the nonsense and do some research

I was with you up to here. This defense is improved over last year.. but that aint sayin much.. I need to see a few more games holding teams under 20 points before I declare them "good." They are still giving up better than 4.5 yards per carry and almost 350 passing yards a game. What they HAVE done is create turnovers.. Right now both offense and defense are ranked 15th in scoring.. The offense is moving the ball ranking 4th in yards while the defense is 27th. If not for the turnovers we'd be in big trouble.. But if they keep it up we will be fine.. I don't really care where people have Dak "ranked." He's the #1 QB of the Dallas Cowboys.. That's all the ranking that matters to me.
The defense is vastly improved . You could see it from turnovers and points allowed . Heck the defense kept a stellar chargers offnese at 17 points , which is fantastic , and got 4 turnovers vs the buccaneers . At some stage the excuses have to end and Dak as the leader has to take the cowboys to a deep playoff run ASAP . Heck , baker mayfield did it last year despite a bad defense . time for Dak to make the difference.
