You guys remember when JG tried to stretch some extra time at the end of the half and Choice fumbled? They're good just going into the half with the lead and a dominating performance. I'm fine with letting it run down.
Agreed. Personally I would have gone for it, but in that situation you probably have a similar chance of giving the ball back to philly as you do to score. More of a “play to not lose” mentality but I get it.

To be honest the way the eagles offense is playing it may have been the right move.

It was the right move.

Think about it...had they called the TO Dallas would have had 1st and 10 from their own 10 with over a minute left. Where this offense has been vulnerable has been inside their own 20. Not sure we would have taken shots down the field from that deep in Dallas' territory.

It wasn't an awful non-TO by McCarthy... let's move on people.

You will always win in spite of Mike McCarthy not because of him. His clock management and poor decision making cost the Packers more than once in the playoffs, it’s gonna bite Dallas.
The clock mismanagement at the end of the half was ridiculous. He could’ve easily had over a minute to drive for another score, Football 101.

I don't think it is bad clock management when you purposely let the clock run down to end the half. You can criticize the strategy for not being aggressive to try and put up another score.

This entire thread is stupid. You don’t risk your key players when you don’t need to. We had the lead and McCarthy made the right choice. Being selfish gets players hurt, and if that has happened you’d be going nuts over it and blaming Mike. Sit down.

Once again MM left possible points out there at the end of the 1st half by not calling a time out!!!!!!!!!!! What gives with this non-sense???????

Yup....once again he was unsure what to do @ the end of the first half. It's concerning. But it can be corrected. It's those kind of mistakes that will get you beat in the playoffs.

He seemed very sure of himself.

It was the right move. We were going to be pinned against the goaline and was not going to risk it with the lead.

You can’t know your going to be backed into corner on field territory . They were third and forever at that point when third down is over and even before you burn time outs you want the ball back
