The word some are struggling with is defense. I'm with you, we've become accustomed to being afraid when they take the field. The idea that we may have a decent one is scary, and there are a lot of games to play. But early indications are we may, just maybe, be able to stop the opponent once in awhile.

Enjoy the win. We've got 14 more to play.

While I agree 100%...it just makes too much sense in the NFL for the first time in FOREVER this team has that dog in them - BUT they've now added taunting as a penalty. Gotta watch out for those calls now

I really don’t care what the regular season record is as long as we win the division. If this teams comes into the playoffs with all of their guys back and healthy, watch out

the opposing coach wore a beat Dallas t-shirt. Stephen jones told the fan today the team is going to come out with more venom than usual....

Pretty obvious they were riled up by the amateur hour antics of the eagles terrible head coach. The cowboys did the same thing in 09 and 14 vs the eagles when their team ran their mouth and then got whipped. The 14 game at philly murray, leary, witten were in fights after every play at one point.

the reality is this is a really really bad eagles team. i just heard on wip that the eagles 35 penalties through 3 games is the most in nfl history. The eagles have no talent on defense outside of the two DT's. they are in for a long season. Also just heard cox was sick all week and didnt practice much on the postgame.

false. they’re not particularly dangerous, are down significant players, and don’t play in our division so have zero bearing on the relevance of this game. just let folks enjoy an impressive divisional win

I love how quickly the defense rally to the ball. At first it looks like the play is going to go for much more but then like 4 defenders all close in quick and gang tackles.

Total different team than what we've seen the last couple seasons, or decades. I haven't seen that body language, swag, vibe or whatever you ant to call it since the 90's. I feel the influx of new young talent in Parsons, Osa, Diggs, etc and the belief in the scheme has done wonders. This was a different team tonight than we've seen in a long time. I don't know what Quinn did and what he's putting in the water but it's more than scheme. He's got these guys playing like they believe they will succeed. The last couple seasons/decades we've played like we hope to succeed.

Completely different attitude with this defense. I'm really excited for this team.

Sirianni looked fairly tame and timid on the sideline tonite! Maybe he'll tone down the Hollywood dramatics for a change, now! :muttley:
