Eight hours ago Advanced Reconnoissance folks alerted me: This Panther defense might not only be good, but elite. And not only elite, but historically elite. They crush all in their path. The junior officer pleaded, "Call special Ops, and then Top Brass."

I looked at the Carolina engagement history and chuckled. It's merely early campaign static, empty noise. The Panthers feasted on inferior Jets and Texans units. In the Panther's other game my intel was that opposing QB Winston had regressed, panicked and lost motor control. I messaged back: "No major threats in range. Set status yellow."

Weak yellow I thought....Ate a stale bagel and went to bed. "We'll make house-cats of those Panthers," I mumbled before drifting off.

Sometimes early hour sleep disruptions are driven by vague intuition, other times a need to piss. I awoke at 0300 and decided I best study that Carolina-Saints game...

90 minutes later I called special Ops, and then the Top Brass. FIVE STAR ALERT.

Their defense may be good but you look at the list of quarterbacks they've faced and you won't find a Dak Prescott or an offense as prolific. I don't think Carolina can contend with an offense that can hurt you in different ways, and an aggressive new defense dead set on taking the ball away. I don't exactly see the Panthers as a " code red " being lead by Sam Donald.

I think the Saints had half the coaches out with the dreaded “ C “ word and were down to the popcorn salesmen from section 7 calling plays . Then next up you had the grounded flight delay offense that is the Jets and finally Houston which has a few issues.

No I expect a better showing from Dallas from the above and as i said in another thread I see a double digit win for the Cowboys I don’t see Carolina scoring much .

They've been playing clips of the 2015 Thanksgiving game all over the web this week.

As a guy who has been around the Panthers and their fanbase his entire life, I don't think I've ever seen the fans this arrogant.

8 of them. They probably could've called some random person from the street to call plays and the outcome would've been the same.

I expect Carolina to give us some trouble, but they can't double everyone and once Dak figures out who is 1 on 1, we'll get em. We will also find out how they function without horn. I doubt we see 2 safeties deep like the iggles. I'd like Moore to scheme cooper to get some 1 on 1 matchups.

If nothing else, this is one of the more entertaining posts I've read on here. Not sure I agree that the Panthers D is anywhere close to elite, but I am somewhat of a believer in Darnold and coupling an above average defense with a decent QB is a recipe for a much better opponent than we expected a month ago. I wasn't impressed with Chuba after CMC got hurt and I think that's gonna hurt their offense, especially since they're going up against a pretty good defense themselves.

they are still 3-0 and hope the team takes them seriously but the panthers know our Offense isnt what they've faced the first 3 weeks but they did do their job they are 3-0..and should get respect for it..

Well, that defense already lost their best cover CB
Secondaries are already at a disadvantage vs Dallas, so that not good news for them

Combinethat with losing by far their best offensive play….they're goin down

Pretty sure MM isn't preparing the team to play a creampuff this week. Darnold killed us with the Jets.

Recon has secured visual on high grade CarPa disruptors pulsing vs run game and perpetual destabilization of opposing QB pocket.

Maintaining an operational pocket a material concern. CarPa defenders often get home directly at snap, thwarting launch of aerial payload.
