Who gets cut to make room for Turner?

What about when Gallimore, Gallup and Joseph come back? Which players get cut then?

Turner is a core special teams player and can do more on those units than Fehoku, who could be headed to the practice squad.

I guess…

Or Fehoko could get claimed off of waivers and leave us with yet another hole to fill next year?

There are guys like Fehoko available every draft. Turner provides more value to the roster this year. I would cut Simi and gamble he will make it thru to the PS.

If we lose him— we lose him. He has not impressed in any way to this point

At this point I think the Cowboys should concentrate on getting Cedrick Wilson re-signed since we know Gallup is probably leaving. The Cowboys can also make Fehoku one of their four protected practice squad players every week too.

I totally agree on that, and have advocated for that same thing, if Wilson is actually interested in a new deal before he hits free agency?

That’s if he passes through waivers that first time, right?

You're right on both. I hope the Cowboys do get Wilson back but I'm sure he might want to test the market first.

i dunno if we usually see guys in the NFL draft every year with such measurements like Simi Fehoko.
That's how and why he stands out.

- With Simi Fehoko, i think it's more about his great physical workout measurements (6'4, 220, 4.37) and projected potential.
than anything impressive from Simi this summer as a receiver that suggest he could give us another element this year. He's next year's project.

- Coaches maybe convinced that they can work on Simi's flaws and get a much improved player, and because of
those physical measurements, he's worth the wait.

- Instead of cutting a Simi, it could be a player like FB Ralston ?
