I believe any body that plays on a team with them 31st easiest schedule will have a tough time being considered for regular season MVP. Strength of schedule has to be factored in.

Therefore Rayne Dakota should have no problem getting Super Bowl MVP. . Being that he’s made such deep playoff runs the last 6 seasons , it’s only a matter of time till he hoists the Lombardi and says, “I’m going to Disneyland”

MVP, MVP, MVP!
It will be interesting to see how their strength of schedule shakes out this year. AFC West looks brutal and NFC South looks like 2nd best in NFC .

Consider we are playing both SB teams in Tampa and KC , we’ll see how we fare. No doubt our division looks worse than most thought.

Right. MVP will depend a lot on team success, and he doesn't have complete control over that.
It’s all just hype at the moment . He at least could be offensive player of the year and definitely comeback player but I think with his recent history will need a push in playoffs for MVP.

Tons of competition this year pending their teams push. The fact he could be in the conversation should put all of the trolls talk to rest.

It was Romo’s most effective season because of the running game. He wasn’t having to carry the offense. This is what caused the debate whether he was the Cowboys MVP or Murray. You asked for an example and I gave you another one, Aaron Rodgers who didn’t play well in the playoffs during his MVP year in 2011. Adrian Peterson during his 2000 yard season in 2012 was held under 100 yards in the playoffs and the Vikings went one and done. Speaking of done I’m done with this.
I completely agree that League MVP is based on the regular season. Play offs don't come into it.
Winning record is a massive factor as well

With us also displaying a strong running game, that could cut into his chances, like it did with Romo in 2014. Big numbers by quarterbacks coupled with success usually are favored.

Stafford is probably the front runner right now. Rams have an ok running game but it's more about the QB numbers and the defense which is unlikely to take away votes from him. Plus they should finish with a strong winning record.

Believe it or not, no Cowboys QB has ever won league MVP.

Dak will do it. If not this year, then some time in the next few years.
Staubach came close, he was on fire in 71 but Alan Page won it. Staubach wasnt even the starter at the outset of that year.

I could see Dak winning, I think that could happen.

You gotta love the Stafford story. If the Rams go far, it's his.

I'll settle for SB MVP for Dak. It has a better ring......get it?.......ring?

Back to back SB wins and Troy didn’t grab the prize . Hmmm interesting . Well now he gets to broadcast with Erin Andrews it was well worth it.

Now a word from Erin ….

It was more the team around Troy. He didnt really have to do much tbh.

Yes

Meredith was 1966 NFL player of the year which was basically at that time similar equivalence.

And Roger won NFC MVP which was all he could do in 1971. Bob Griese won AFC MVP that year . I think it’s fair to say if there was only one Staubach would have most likely won.

Remember Bob Griese played on an undefeated team that went on to sweep the playoffs clean and grab the SB trophy. Not bad.

And Brian Griese the son is a pretty good NFL analyst. The woman they threw into the studio on Sunday night football she practically yells into the camera. And they threw Rodney Harrison to the curb. So he can be among the drunk tailgaters from the Dawg Pound or the Buffalo mafia breaking tables when 275 lbs lands on them …..

Better to cheer and support the QB than constantly rip on them (Romo and Dak).

What’s with the cheap shots at Dak. Now Tony had a decade to go deep playoff dive never happened. Dakota Prescott is what year 5. Let’s see what unfolds before we go all zombie on the guy.

I wasn't ripping on Dak or Romo. I was clarifying who I was referring to there because I supported Romo when he was here and I support Dak.
