Henderson isn't another Diggs, but I get your point. Two things can both be true, 1. Henderson doesn't love football and 2. Urban is too full of himself to think he has to put up with anyone who doesn't buy into his ish.

This is one of those cases which shows it's best that the HC doesn't have final say on personnel moves. A GM would've pressed upon Meyer to exhibit some patience on this one. At least a season.

Don't understand that trade at all for Jax. A top 10 CB draft pick just last year for a journeyman TE????
That CB was playing at maybe top 40 level CB ....so say his value is 3rd round, 2nd at most.
But it was so early, that there's a chance he takes off and becomes really good. So I agree that unless the relationship was awful, they should've waited a year.

They did get a 3rd rounder.
Plus Arnold, who is better than a journeyman....maybe on par with our TEs.

I wonder if they will play the meow mix song again like they did back at Texas Stadium around 2008 when they introduced the team.
:muttley:

this is interesting you say this. I think this was 09. They were in Dallas in 03 and 09. Dallas played at Carolina in 05, 06 and 07.

I also don't think they would have done that at Texas Stadium. George Dunham was the PA guy and he kept it pretty traditional, he used to do that deep jon facenda voice when announcing third down...I can still here him doing it..."3rrrrd Dowwwwwwn and 10"

So I think it was that first monday night game at the new stadium in 09. The Cowboys first win in the stadium, Dead crowd that night and the team was lousy. If not for Newman's pick six they probably lose.

also, not only has Jake Delhomme been to cowboys stadium he took the First L there ever throwing two interceptions.

Rhule is very good but he has some very good coordinators in Snow and Brady.

And like Jimmy coming out of college, he is dialed in on the talent in the draft.

I think Delhomme was referring to the media section.

George talked about this the next day on the Ticket. He does not control what music is played. This was when they introduced the players individually. He said he was trying to keep from laughing, but he could not make it through the entire line up, and finally said, here are the Carolina Panthers. He said he had no idea that was going to be played.
And I was at that game on that Monday night in 09, and do not recall it happening then.

Maybe he was referring to a game in 03, then, telling it after that Monday night game. As he was not the stadium announcer at the new stadium. It was a long time ago he said this.

Dean sounds right. Not sure who does it now.
All I know is they weren’t as good as George was. I was disappointed he did not get renewed.
