I remember when the haters narrative was Dak can’t pass for over a 200 yard average.
Look what is going on now.
Fun times.

Well he clearly couldn’t until the Jones crew had to get him the most talented WR core in the league to accompany the best OL and RG in he league that allows for all the man coverage he sees…. Dak in Zeke’s 6 game suspension and pre-Amari Cooper was a laughing stock and was setting Quincy Carter levels of futility. It took him a week to throw a TD in training camp in year 3.

Dak hasn’t shown he can elevate any roster, when he’s got average talent. That has been clearly demonstrable with the game tape.

Is he better now? Well he better be after 6 years of babysitting and loading the roster with even more talent..

No they weren't that is why they had less pro bowls, less All Pros, less TD's, inferior everything.

You are wandering around in a fantasy world amigo.

Rookies, sheesh!

Yes, in a much more difficult passing league. Facts are Manning couldn’t do Jack squat until the post 2004 rules. He was OWNED by the Patriots DBs and Bill Polian had to cry to the league. With his “record setting” Denver offense that put up the most gaudy stats of ANY QB up to that point in time, he got completely demolished by the Legion of Boom. All those “numbers” were meaningless against aggressive DB play when the refs let the DBs plays.

Further, pro bowls are essentially meaningless now. A third of them are voted by the fans and these type of awards to “establish” superiority for a QB over different passing eras are asinine. They only had meaning relative to the contemporary players.

Facts are Manning’s stats were, and this is completely established by the numbers, aided by the post 2004 rules.

Part of the reason he has the quickest release in the nfl is because kellen wants him to release the ball ASAP and part of the game plan against the bucs who take away the run was to utilize short quick passes in the place of the run game. It’s possible to say perhaps he holds onto the ball too longer sometimes while acknowledging how good he’s been and how quick his release has been.

it’s not hating to make an observation. Dak has been amazing but you can still mention things he needs to work on.
He's just doing a great job so far of getting the ball out.

Don't confuse "quick release" with getting the ball out in a timely manner through....not the same thing.

Dak was a 4th round draft pick to a poorly coached team that led them to the playoffs in his rookie season and went blow for blow against the great Aaron Rodgers. Carry on with your blind hatred.
your picture is very apt to the drivel you post.

Listen here Howdy Doody. By default you’re considered to be a clown for having a Rowdy pic. Your picture is most certainly very apt for the drivel you just posted.

Have you ever seen any of these guys actually play? Peyton Manning is far superior to John Elway, not even close.

I will admit to have skipped this entire thread and just jumping in based on thread title.

The Panthers coaches already talked about it.

I do not understand how or why anyone would care what Kellerman thinks.

He was irrelevant to anyone with a brain years ago.

But in today's age, he somehow survives like a cockroach.

The starting QB, Tony Romo, remember him, was out for 8 games with a broken collarbone which the Cowboys won ZERO.....but don't let facts get in the way.

And Yes the Cowboys were considered playoff and Superbowl contenders with Romo the next year(Daks Draft year)in a weak division...many were picking Dallas/ San Diego Superbowl that year I believe

Your slip is showing man..again as I've proved several times on here...Romo and Dak were both good and suffered from the same JG problem..but get back to me when you want to break down the players and numbers...your not going to like it.

Thats ridiculous..really John Elway was maybe the greatest QB on talent alone ever..Big, fast, rocket arm...crazy thing, he could not win it by himself..same as Manning....

Stats in garbage time. He also averaged 4.7 YPC in the 4th quarter, down by 7, which clearly attests to this point. Acting as if 7000 yards and 30 points per game is sustainable over a course of a season, because of some “stats” over three games, by an elite QB, let alone Dak Prescott is laughable. 2019, Dak also started off 3-0, not garbage time, everybody was singing his praises and then he and this offense went in a complete tailspin.
How come other quarterbacks aren’t putting up those numbers in “garbage time “. I’m sure you’d rock kneepads for Mahomes and what’s his record? His defense has been giving up 30+ points a game, why isn’t he putting up those numbers? Sit down!

Of course not. My question to that guy was how come he’s not putting up the same numbers that Dak did last year? I mean if it was so easy because of “garbage time”, I would assume that the former MVP and Super Bowl MVP shouldn’t have problems.

Which part of "comparing QB's from different eras is stupid" don't people get?

If Brady played in the 80's he would have 3 rings max. Because QB's received more big hits in one season than Brady has had his entire career. His body would never allow him to play past 35 as he is so immobile. Same goes for Marino, Rodgers, Brees when comparing them to Marino Montana and Elway. That is why there is no such thing as the GOAT. If you try you are always comparing apples to oranges. Brady, Manning, Elway, Staubach, Unitas. All great.

When national sports pundits who are notorious for denying some of our players credit begin to acknowledge who Dak is, it’s time for the haters on this board to recognize they are extreme outliers, and their opinion does not matter in the least. It’s like telling them water is wet and them just digging their heels in the sand and saying, “No it’s not!”. They’re like petulant children throwing a temper tantrum because they didn’t get their way. No national sports journalist is going to risk embarrassing themselves on live tv with such a comparison unless this were the consensus opinion of Dak amongst many in media and the league.

Amen, the haters on this board are either stupid or trolls from other teams. It's obvious to anyone with an ounce of intelligence Dak is a great QB.

Dak = good
Kellerman = idiot

In others words, Dak is good but Max Kellerman would be last person to use as a football reference.

He but one of many. The list includes not just a bunch of stupid (agreed) media, but coaches and former players.

Yes I have.. and no, he’s not…. Like I said, all the yapping in the world doesn’t change the fact that Manning’s numbers were ‘mediocre’ pre-2004 rules while getting his butt handed to him in the playoffs by DB PLAY.. and his “record setting” Denver offense could only muster a whopping 8 points against the LOB in the SB, while Seattle laid 44 on them. And that too, when the Hawks were up 36-0 and basically decided to let them score some points to end the third.

We aren’t even talking about the 70s and prior where DBs could put their hands on WRs after five yards.

It’s like trying to compare Pistol Pete with Allen Iverson, when Pete played in an era where you couldn’t even put your hand in the side of the ball, and if you did it could only be a slap. Iverson would have been called for carrying every time he crossed over or dribbled up the court..

Maybe because teams weren’t getting as blown out as much as we were, despite us having much better rosters?

How come QBs like Andy Dalton still had better stats when it was the 4th quarter and down by 7 than Dak? What part of 4th quarter and down by 7 did you miss, with Dak’s whopping 4.7 YPC, 0 TDs and 1 INT performances than? If it was anything other than garbage time, you would think he could at least match Andy Dalton, considering AD didn’t even have Zach Martin on his line the whole year except for the half he came back and won against the Giants?

Both Peyton Manning and Eli. Most blessed quarterback to ever win a Super Bowl. One with Denver. . And one head David Tyree
