Please don't get on him when his INT numbers begin to decline, which they will and should.

At some point, he will be paid the ultimate compliment. Teams will no longer throw in his direction.

Check out the stats of any prolific defensive back. They get a spike in INT's for a few seasons and then they begin to decline rapidly. Best Cowboy example is Mel Renfro, a Hall of Famer.

I agree. I think teams will soon stop trying to throw at him. I'll happily take that. Ignore him, and let others take advantage of that.

I don't think diggs will ever be a shutdown corner, but I've always said have a middle of the pack defense but give this offense extra possessions with turnovers and we'll win a lot of games. Diggs is a playmaker.

I also love the fact his brother is an elite wide receiver in this league. Anytime he struggles he has a guy he can talk with to try and get better.

Agree. The trick will be to keep teams guessing on where he will line up. Sanders took out a portion of the field on a regular basis. It is a different passing style league now. Dion could have played in any year and been the best, but I want to see the Cowboys coaches continue to adjust regarding how we deploy Diggs and Parsons.

Diggs always on the number one wr, or something more nuanced that continues to create turnovers?

We have a few years before we need to worry about Diggs' status with the team.
But he is a good player whose confidence is growing. And that's what you need to play corner.
You need confidence because you're going to get beat.
We have this season and 2 more thats it. I am sure there will be some noise before that 4th year.

Back spasms is the reason he was pulled. Just letting y'all know.
I was thinking it had to be more than "load management." I don't think he would have wanted to keep himself out of that game other than an injury because he was in a zone and could have pulled off the hat trick (Anthony Brown should have had an interception, but he doesn't have Diggs' hands).

best CB we've had since Everson Walls.
he is a complete defender.
not only a ball magnet.
solid run defender.
excellent tackler.
just one heckuva all around player.

Have you heard of a guy by the name of sanders by chance?

Can we take a moment to appreciate Trevon Diggs? He's been incredible!! At least one interception every game this season to tie a team record. He's becoming a shutdown corner. I hope we can keep him long term, because we've needed a CB like him for a LONG time!!

Agree. 5 interceptions in 4 games is insane. He is playing at All-pro level right now.

Absolutely. TD and this defense are looking so darn good! I told myself not to get too excited. But a month in and we are still rolling and getting better each week.

Bless my soul this is so darn fun!!!
