Garrett seemed afraid to try new things that were working across the league.....his old style 90's cowboy ways are almost 30 years old now.....i believe he wasted so much talent...but i am nobody?
Garrett wasnt fair to the fans or the players. Sure the players liked him he was all feely clappy.Wandering in the desert for ten years and he wasnt Moses

If Diggs really wasn't injured, taking him out of the game was inexcusable. At the very least, he should have went back out after the Panthers made it 36-21. Do the coaches not understand this defense can give up huge chunks of yardage in the blink of an eye? Yes, they rose up today after the half, but we see it over and over on 3rd and forever situations where this team will give up big plays through the air. Taking your foot off the gas before the clock hits zeros is not smart. That said, even with Diggs out, we had multiple opportunities to end the game sooner than when we did.

He was injured, back spasms and tightness...the Panthers are a good team, they made a good comeback, we stopped them. We won. The end

The Mike disrespect has gone too far, which is ridiculous coming from cowboys fans who watched Jason Garret teams look sloppy and unprepared every week. Mike has had his team prepared and ready with a great game plan for 4 straight weeks now. I know it’s easy to brush him aside because he’s not the OC or DC but Cmon guys let not be dumb. The dudes resume speaks for itself. You don’t luck into that many wins and you’re seeing it right now. When was the last time Cowboys have looked this prepared with a good game plan? When is the last time they could lose 4-7 starters a week and still look really good? The answer is not in a long long time. Give Mike credit

As predicted, you’re letting the end result color your view of McCarthy.

The team is relatively healthy, has totally changed its personnel on defense, and has our QB back. The players on the field are performing which is what dictates the results on the field.

We aren’t winning these games because of McCarthy’s in coaching acumen putting us in position to win games. As a matter a fact, it’s been quite the opposite.

Laying the credit at McCarthy’s feet is equal to crediting Barry Switzer for our last Super Bowl win.

At this point if you are complaining about "time management" on 3 straight wins...you have to ask yourself is it really bad clock management or is it intentional.
Intentional or habitual?

Preach it. Scream it from the street corners and rooftops. We have an adult in charge. It appears people have forgotten how inept Garrett was.

Great win today.

That said, let's not gloss over yet another game of McCarthy's mind-numbing time and game management.

There will be folks that will claim all is well because we won, but you can't keep making these bone-headed decisions and it not eventually come back to haunt you.
the team relaxed in the 4th and they scored two quick TDs.....coaches should realize that that's the time the opposing team presses and plays with a higher sense of urgency and that's when the team needs to play just as much urgency.....we took our foot off the pedal, playing not to lose in the 4th quarter and could have been disasterous

Why did McCarthy not accept either major penalty against Carolina early that would have backed them up.

Because he assessed that the loss of down was more valuable than 8 yards in that situation.

I don't think he was necessarily wrong, but the defensive call on the next play was too soft.

I saw a tweet that said we have a Super Bowl caliber roster with a Wild Card caliber head coach and it's 100% true.

The way Carolina was getting chunks of yards in the 1st half I take any penalty that makes getting a first down that much harder. Putting # 11 near the line of scrimmage and creating havoc made all difference in Darnolds outlook on his visit to Texas in the second half.

Im happy we won, sure beats losing but all of us should feel some impending doom because of this coach. His weird decisions are going to bite us at some point and possibly multiple times. Challenging stupid stuff, going for 2 pointers, giving players the rest of the day off with an entire quarter left? Even if Quinn suggested it, no way McCarthy should've agreed to that and if he suggested it, he's just a spineless tool.

Those types of problems are magnified in the playoffs, which is maybe why MM and Rodgers only won 1 SB...

I go with intentional. We may question some decisions from a fan perspective, but I believe there are reasons we are not privvy to.

Aren’t you the guy who didn’t even understand what clock management was lol? So it doesn’t shock me the resident poster who walks on his knuckles and breathes out of his neck is the one who doesn’t understand something lol.
