It's been a nice start at the quarter mark of the season.

Still think the team should be 3-1 and is.

Tampa should be a win as you alluded to. LA game the sole blemish on the card based on the two scores taken away by penalty.
Stop saying their TDs were taken. That's false. You can't commit a penalty and get awarded for it. Dallas absolutely earned that win and the Chargers didn't score those 2 TDs because they aren't discipline enough to not commit a penalty........

lol….nice catch!

By the way, I hope you don’t give my Giants their 4th loss this Sunday. We need this game a heckuva lot more than you do. In fact, the whole NFC East needs for us to win too. Don’t you want a close race? That creates much more drama and media attention that the whole world craves for. But, here is one thing we both can agree with- that both teams don’t lose any players due to injury. I drink to that, for your boys too.
No we dont. We want to run away with this division. lol

Thats the story of his career. He has a lot of 3 point victories in key situations, he's fortunate to have had good kickers on his teams.

Brady had game-winning drives in the 4th quarter or overtime in all 6 of his Super Bowl wins with the Patriots.

It was an obvious mistake on our part to give him the ball back with over a minute left when he only needed to get them in field goal range.

The Cowboys 3-1 record is impressive considering we’ve played 3 good teams though.

They look good so far and has been said the defense could use some work and hopefully will come together. We also have a few pieces still out namely Dlaw, Collins, and Gallup. It's so early though, we have no idea how this team is going to look at the end of 17 games. We know there will be players lost for the season to injury and with Dallas probably suspension as well. Instead of looking ahead I'm just going to enjoy the ride and hope it doesn't break down.

No one is happier to see this than I am. But, all of this becomes old news if we don't win this week. I'm all about hoping we dirt stomp the Giants next. I want to beat them so badly that their fans start talking about their draft pick next year by half time.

Power rankings are largely stupid. But I did have to laugh at Pete Prisco's today on CBS Sports.

He has Dallas at 8. The Chargers at 7. Hmmmmm. Like what's the thought process there Pete? When you got to 7 on your list, when you were looking at a few teams to slide into the 7 spot, did you ask yourself, gee, if only there was some way to differentiate the Cowboys and Chargers? I really can't think of one............ LOL.

It actually looks like the Chargers WRs are getting better at not dropping the rockets Herbert fires into their hands.

Justin Herbert is going to be a problem for years and years. He's like Mahomes. It's only year 2 for him and he already plays like a top 10 QB.

He’s playing like the best QB in the league. If you were to just look at QB play this year, not pay attention to history, just look at what they are doing on the field now, I doubt anybody is better. I haven’t seen guys like Murray, but I can guarantee you they are NOT making the types of throws he is consistently.

The throws he makes are elite level and he does them as if it’s his MO. I honestly don’t know how you go up from this guy as far as QB play is concerned.

If this guy gets better, like how exactly is it going to look? Herbert flies through his progressions and doesn’t need complicated scheming to get guys open.

I’d take him over Mahomes and not look back.

You wouldn't be hurting with either guy.

Mahomes, Herbert, and Allen are all scary and young. Thank goodness they are all in the AFC lol

Tampa game still bothers me. No PI call & 3 missed 3 pointers including key yardage drops by Lamb. Brady knew he got away with one. His luck won't last forever, especially if the road to the playoffs comes to Dallas!
The problem with the road going through Dallas will only happen if we have a better record ( unless it’s a 3-way tie). I wanted NE to beat Tampa, not because I can’t stand Brady, but because we need TB losses.

Now, if you meant going through Dallas the team, then that loss doesn’t factor in.

I think your OC is the one of the best. You should tell your owner to give Garrett a long term contract. Maybe a lifetime contract. I wish he was still here as many others on this board . Especially a user that goes by @Ranching

Allen I’m still not sold on. Like Herbert and Mahomes you can look at immediately and say, “these guys are special”. Allen has the physical tools though.

Allen's accuracy has come back to Earth this season.. His completion percentage stinks (relatively speaking of course) and his ypa at 6.8 is awful. They've played 3 of 4 at home and have not played anybody with a winning record. Maybe he rediscovers the groove he found last year but it bears watching IMHO. Mahomes done done it.. Herbert needs to put together a little thicker resume before I put him in that category. He looked really skittish when the Cowboys amped up the pressure on him and made some boneheaded throws against it. He's young so obviously has a lot of time to clean that up.. But you gotta show me..
