Funny we have people questioning if JJ Would burn a 1st.

I call these Cowboys fans AOL fans -
Because they were probably 12 years old in the mid late 90’s during the AOL hey day .
Comical
The true comedy is that you actually think that they would trade a 1st for a player that they don't need.

Not for a linebacker, because it seems as though this guy might be ready for action:

we drafted that guy to be a player. So lets find out if he can fill that need for cheap money.

truth, but i meant on the trade market?

I know i was being funny...I mean the best time to trade is at the end of tc when guys are going to get cut for depth reasons but still might have a managble contract ( the reverse is also true that they might have a bad contract)

The only other time I'd say is when a team has a break out player that pushes a vet down the list where you can get a big upgrade to a position for a relatively cheep pick...granted that could be a hard contract too so hard to say

Naw, he's saving his 1st round picks so that he can bundle them to trade for a fragile star receiver.....because that's what 1st round picks are for.

You never know when it comes to what Jerry is thinking, planning, or going to do. Who knew today he would release a player he has had a soft spot for, Jaylon Smith?
Actually we do know. You’ve clearly bought into the media narrative on him.

He’s not a sporadic GM. I’m sure the decision on Jaylon was thoroughly discussed and approved by all coaches.

So yeah, we do know with Jerry.

I'd do it for New England's top corner or a run stuffing DT or linebacker. People say we have linebackers but none of them can make tackles in the gap. ALA Ken Norton types.
I’m assuming you’re referencing Gilmore? I’m so glad none of us are GM’s. There were people on here talking about giving them Gallup and a third. Now this first round pick was also thrown out there.

Panthers got him for sixth round pick lol

Actually we don’t know. People assume that they know what others are always thinking. No where in my statement did I mention anything about the media influencing my thoughts about Jerry Jones. I never stated that he didn’t speak with the coaching staff about Jaylon. But of course you assume to know what I was thinking because of the media.
