We are depending on his arm to win games, and his decision making as well. Having a good running game doesn't mean we aren't also dependent on other elements. It all fits together, which is how winning football works.
U know u are speaking to an idiot. You have to speak stupid for him to understand

When Jamsis Winston is #4, you know you've got a problem

Why is this a problem? Winston is having a great year so far.. Doesn't mean it won't come crashing down on him at any moment.. but through the first four games he's playing well. I don't understand why that bothers people..

Without Zeke, our QB simply can't produce.
Your last example of this was the gimmie week 1 game which he managed to lose.
Did his MIA against the Bolts for 2.5 Quarters.
P.S.Heard the refs are still calling back TD against the Bolts.
And vs the Panthers well with the exception of 1 nice pass completion, the rest occurred once Zeke cleaned house on the Panthers defense.
And without Dak Zeke couldn't produce, They compliment each other. And, there have been reports about how often Dak is seeing the defense and audibling from a pass to a run based on that. Good decisions from the QB also play a part.

As for the Chargers, it was a tough win against a strong team, and every scoring drive contained its fair share of passing to happen, and one TD drive was mostly on Dak's arm. In addition, Dak completed 85 of his passes, so don't ridiculously act as if Dak wasn't a big part of the win.

You have never grasped that the goal is to check his ego at the door and do whatever it takes to win, not to accumulate personal stats.

Dak is doing exactly that - doing whatever is needed to win. I find it humorous that bothers you.

That dude's schtick stopped being humorous after the first 100 times I read it. Now it's just a pathetic cry for attention.

Lol - The guy was inches away with the Lamb pass and one bad call on the rushing TD in Philly from having 9 total TD's in 6 days and people are complaining about his production. You'll never like him, might as well sit it out until he retires.

85% dink and dunk King in action.
Long way to go, honestly I sincerely hope you are correct and Dakko can produce when the run game or the refs aren't carrying the load for us.
Will see......

All true.

I suspect the skeptics have something to do with his mind-boggling 30 interceptions two years ago. But Payton has tightened the reigns. The dude IS a gifted passer if he keeps his head on straight.

His receiving group is awful--so they barely throw it-- but he could get help if Thomas returns somewhat healthy.

Yeah the kid is an absolute knucklehead but he can throw the ball as accurately as any human being I have ever seen. I still remember that year when they won the championship it was game #4 before he had as many incomplete passes as TD passes.. FOR THE SEASON.. I had never seen such ridiculously precise ball placement as he displayed that year. Then "crablegs" took over and he has not been the same player since. But his talent throwing the ball is undeniable.

My wife and one of her best friends are FSU grads.
Believe me, I remember well!
He can spin it.

In that game, yes, he didn't throw downfield much. There was no reason to. Again, the goal is to do what it takes to win in the situation in front of you, not to win while amassing personal stats. Those can be conflicting goals.

I'm rooting for him to finally have the light bulb moment .. not just because I am a native Floridian but also because I hate to see guys waste talent and opportunity. It wasn't that long ago that Winston would have been moved to tight end coming into the league because.. well.. you know.. So a guy with his talent is committing a sin against those whose shoulders on which he stands by not taking advantage of the opportunity he has been given which they were denied. Yes I want him to throw three picks and have two fumbles when WE face him but the rest of the season I want him to ball out.

Are my eyes deceiving me? This is probably the best Dak Prescott has ever played in his career and his QBR metric seems pretty low. He's in the same range as Herbert, Rodgers, Jackson, Josh Allen.

Dak Prescott Stats | ESPN
Numbers don't mean squat, Dak has been on fire with his leadership of this team this year and that's what counts. He don't have to run for 100 yds or throw for 400 yds every week for this team to win.

Not because of the talent drop-off.
The locker room is his heck even Zeke is wrapped around his finger.
Great salesman and PR guy and an average QB.
Do you even understand what you just wrote? Although you tried to portray it as a negative, in reality you just said Dak is so vital as a leader on the Cowboys that they can't win without him. That's actually one of the key traits you want in a top QB - leadership that helps pull the best from the team.

I look at Dak's QBR and then I remember plays like the Philly game, where Dak is intercepted/fumbled in the end zone for a TD. He has had negative plays and those plays will dog him in the rankings.
Winston had this amazing game his first game and hasn't been as amazing since, but it counts.
I look at Green Bay team analytics and wonder at how low they are, but again, a horrible game 1 and they can't just count games 2-4.

Those low games will have less impact over time because they will make up less of the average. I really think it was the Charger game that hurt him more because he had an INT and no TD's. The fumble in the Pilly game was offset by 3 TD's and not INT's
