his pass protection against DTs isn't very good. Same for Williams. They both looked bad in the Philly and Tampa games.

In all due respect TB and Philly have 4 stud DT’s between the 2 teams. Everyone has issues with those guys.

He got pushed around against Philly....Cox and company...so people ran with it. They like doing that....he and Williams struggled in that game, but bounced back nicely against Carolina.
Hope he learned something and will get better as the year goes on and become a decent to good center :yourock:

Biadasz is young yet and still immersed in the process of his development. He needs to gain strength and better conditioning to turn some of that baby fat into muscle. Let's give him the opportunity that any young lineman needs to arrive at his peak. Sometimes patience is required and we don't seem to be altogether willing to accept that approach. Perhaps we could try a lot harder to do so . . . o_O
Yeah, just his second year, still a lot of room to grow.

he has what 10 starts still basically a rookie? leave it be learning NFL C on the fly is tough..lets find out real quick when they try and replace him and the snaps start sailing and rolling in dak and wreck the offense ..hes not perfect has long way top go but id say hes our best option so far..

im sure if it becomes real problem they may go beg Looney off the trash heap..or if he cant get release someone else.

Why does he seem to have a bad rap here or some believe we need to replace him?

It seems like he is doing a solid job out there as the starter for being a 2nd year player drafted in the 4th round.

Dallas has the highest graded oline.

He can't be doing poorly.

Am I missing something?

PFF has Biadasz ranked 27th. I expected a big jump this year. Hasn't happened. A 27th ranked starter is a position to think about upgrading.

I'm far from giving up on him. But if he's still around 27th by the end of the year, I'd be looking to bring in competition next year. Good year for it. We'll need an interior oline pick anyway with Williams likely moving on, and McGovern likely gone the following year.

Look how Steele was last year.. biadazz needs more time. He’s played like 6 games total

I thought he'd make a bigger jump physically in his first NFL offseason, and first real training camp. Didn't happen. At least not yet.

To answer the OP’s question our fans wouldn’t know the difference between a good offensive line and a horrible offensive line. They’re clueless.

Not saying he can’t develop, but those plays are a problem. Can’t have your center getting driven back like he’s a blocking sled.
The fact that you think he is bad is a great relief to me considering your record.

Only a fool takes PFF seriously.

Ours is Good this year, but in 2014 and 2016 it was great, with Tyron-Leary-Beard-Martin-Free. It hasn't been "great" since that year, as Free and Leary left and Collins struggled the first half of his first year in Free's spot. Beard was still good but 2017 was around the time he started playing with Guillain Barre syndrome which made it painful to play through that year, cost him all of 2018 and even though he came back and played through even more pain in 2019, it was clear he was never going to be his old self so he made the right decision to retire. Looney and now Biadasz took his spot and neither of them are the same as Beard. I'd say Williams and ole Ron Leary are a wash; both are good run blockers but tend to hold too much and give up too much in pass protection

Great run blocker. Still developing his strength base. He is young and a little light in the pants. Give him 2 more years NFL experience and 2 years in the gym and he will be in the Pro Bowl.

I am a little bit surprised that teams haven’t picked up on the soft spot against power rushers with Williams/TB playing side by side.
