I wonder what his 40 time is right now? It looks to be approaching 5.0.

He’s obviously wrong about his level of play lol but I won’t knock him too much bc it’s this irrational confidence that allowed him to play again after his terrible injury.

Jalen has a very high football IQ. They would not have made him the captain. If it wasn’t for the leg injury. He could very possibly still be the best linebacker in the league

He gets his confidence back. Green Bay will have a good linebacker

Elite college player getting by on freak athletic ability. Even without his injury he would still never have been "elite" in the nfl.

Good to great without injury?? I could see that but never elite as his limiting factor would still have been his football IQ and feel for plays which are terrible most of the time.

Some of the personal attacks on J. Smith are way over the top. Some people on here have much bigger issues than Jaylon Smith.

very true and well said

loved him as a person, incredible personality and mindset especially to overcome his injury

but just not a good player….social media makes people lose their civility unfortunately

To all Jaylon Smith supporters:

Great story to come back from a horrific injury and, and had a great 2018 season.

That said.

Since then he has been an audio and visual embarrassment and not good at football. I've said it before: Ernie Sims off the trash heap played better and harder for this club.

I can't express how happy I am he's gone. The timing is curious but now everyone on the team understands that winning is now priority in Dallas. Period.

Wish him nothing but the best for him but the worst for that team.
It was just a horrible mistake 1) taking him in the second round and 2) signing that idiotic deal.
Not his fault though.

lol. What do you expect him to say?

Hell, I bet everyone on this forum who reports to someone, tells that someone they are “elite” during annual reviews/whatever.

Yeah man, I am an elite systems analyst alright.
