Wasn’t that PI on AB in the end zone?

Here is the play. Brown puts his hands on Toney a split second before Toney attempts his turn and loses his footing. There was nothing extra from Brown to cause the fall.

I hope flopping doesn't get started in the NFL.

I know some think the refs have it in for Dallas which is probably stretching it but in the opposite direction wasn’t that PI on AB in the end zone he seemed to be all over Toney’s back ? Would have given the Giants fresh downs at the one .

Buckaroo up in the booth got the Fox ref expert for his opinion and he thought Toney’s foot gave out and it was a good “ non call “ . Huh ? Really . That’s one that went Dallas way in a big way.
The player fell down.

Once the receiver's foot touches the defender's foot, referees are going to rule that incidental contact regardless of what happens afterwards.

If the receiver had just turned he could have made a play on the ball, but the route likely called for him to plant hard and separate and the defender was just too close for him to do it which caused their feet to touch.

When a questionable call goes against Dallas the crying towels come out. AB did impede him got to watch the tape . I’ve defended AB on this forum took grief I was as happy to see his pick 6 as anyone. But to be a blind cheerleader nah that’s boring .
No, they got tangled up. Good on the refs for keeping their flags harnessed on that play. Tooting your own horn for being fair to AB is only canceled out when you make this kind of accusation against him when most everyone saw no foul.

I don't think that was pass interference. Toney fell by himself. Or he could have flopped to try and draw a flag. It was a good no call.

Wasn't it holding on Randy Gregory most of the game? We can play this anyway you'd like.

Did you watch the game?

Honest Q: did you once- even for a second- think the Giants were going to win?

The Giants were undermanned. The Cowboys started very sloppy. But @ the end of the day there was a spread beyond 3 TD's that separated the teams. 3.
this thread has nothing to do with the outcome of the game lol, but just how sometimes the bad ref calls sometimes favor dallas.
I have seen in non cowboy games as well a bunch of no calls that should have been a penalty, and a bunch of calls that shouldnt have been a penalty.

On this play it looked like giants player just fell down, and doubt he would have made the catch with that sun in his eyes .

I thought the PI on Kearse was a bad call. TE broke inside and the ball was thrown outside. So the TE reached back against Kearse, the ball wasn't even catchable.

You could call the close contact it either way but it pales in comparison to the multiple times Gregory was held while trying to rush the passer. Notice that Hot Head Toney didn't argue it very aggressively.

Thanks for the clip. Great Angle . I’ve seen PI called for much less but later on was really happy Brown had the pick 6. To be called a “ Giants homer “ for asking if the Cowboys caught a break with officials shows how shallow some of the posters are here. Anything even questioning part of the game sends people into hysterics.

Daniel Jones initiated the helmet to helmet I posted that it was the right non call

So should Jones get fined for what could possibly be reckless if not intentional contact? On replay it appears Jones front helmet speared Jabril Cox on the side of his helmet but he (Jones) got the worst of it. Jones was lights out trying to get into the end zone. If that contact event was reversed I wouldn't be surprised if Cox would be fined. Honestly I have never seen a quarterback initiate contact like this when running with the ball.

Some may say well if Cox wouldn't have ducked or hunched up a little...well then is spearing in the neck ok? I am not gleeful about the concussion Jones suffered but it's difficult to have much empathy for him if he made a reckless and overly aggressive helmet to helmet contact decision.

Thoughts?

Speaking of the officials . On one Giants TD late he falls with ball at about the 4 the Giants RB, he is then touched before getting back up and getting the ball over the goal line by the Cowboy defender however he is given the TD . Since he’s already fallen down and then contacted by the Cowboy I would think the ball is at the 3 not a TD .

The announcers seemed to think the call was right and Joe Judge didn’t have to burn a precious challenge flag , those things are expensive .

Agree with you. That shows how inconsistent PI calls are.

It’s not “ an accusation “ it’s a game observation . Put the cheerleading glasses down.

If you really think that should have PI then you really don't understand this game.
Even a giants fan wouldn't think that was PI.

Hey why didn't you mention when CD Lamb was tackled in the end zone on the pass where Cooper and Lamb were both in the vicinity?

My hope is that you are just bored and trolling the board for a conversation. My fear is you really don't understand the rules.
