Seriously, the season is young and you're all talking about trading a solid piece of the O-Line????????? Don't get some of ya out there...............

LC has had hip and shoulder problems, those don't go away. Get what you can while you can. Better to dump one year early that one year late.

Yeah I don’t get rid of talent during a sb run I look to keep it and maybe add some more if possible.

Biadasz is way under rated. He is the worst on the line because of his seat but he is excellent on his feet and does have pop his lack of anchor notwithstanding.

Biadasz is ****! He may be from Wisconsin but, he's weaker than a baby calf at birth. Weak Link!

Of course you don't. That's why you aren't managing an NFL football team, arm chair GM.

So you don't watch the games. Good to know.

Steele has exceeded expectations and he’s a good run blocker. He struggles in pass protection, and he’s bottom third in the league in pass protection among starting tackles. He’s not La’el Collins.

Another great game. This guys has locked himself in as the RT as far as Im concerned. Put Collins back at LG when healthy to get your best 5 on the field and let Connor practice his snaps just in case. Kudos to 78!

Not sure, just asking those who may be able to tell....

Is it possible that Steele may look extra good because Martin is helping him, and therefore not helping Biadasz so much, making HIM look worse?

I doubt it, but the thought popped into my head.

It certainly isn't something that would be said publicly if true.

By watching Farniok's tape this preseason with the Cowboys, watching his tapes from college and reading the Scouting Reports on him.
His preseason performance against 3rd stringers and guys no longer in the league? His college tape against non-NFL players? Hey, I’m not knocking Farniok. I’m glad we have him. But he’s a rookie 7th round draft pick yet to prove himself.

Biadz is a second year 4th round pick who has played well at times and has not played well at times. He's certainly developing. But has he played so poorly that we are ready to scrap his development and put an untested 7th round pick in for him who’s never played a down of meaningful NFL football?

Steele has been an excellent run blockers his own. He literally has pancaked opponents on nearly double digit instances the last 3 games. His pass blocking needs to improve but he’s better at that than he was last year.

If I were the GM, I would look long and hard about whether Collins is worth his cap space. He will have missed 21 games in the last two seasons, all because of an off field car wreck and poor decisions regarding his off field choices. The first most important “ability” a player must exhibit is “availability” and Collins hasn’t shown that. We have a ton of FAs to consider keeping this next off season. Is keeping a guy you can’t count on worth it at the expense of some guys who will be? It’s a decision that will have to be made.

So now you are making things up to prop up Biadasz?

The Jaguars started their 1st stringers for all of the 1st Half and into the 3rd Quarter during the last preseason game vs the Cowboys. Plus, Biadasz was the last pick chosen in the 4th round. He literally was 1 pick away from being a 5th rounder. Regardless, the proof lies on video for both players. Biadisz had been struggling during pass protection against stronger bullrushing DTs, and now he's struggling with his shotgun snaps as well. This is his 2nd year as a pro. He should be improving. If he keeps struggling, wouldn't it be wise to give someone else a chance? Or are you personally set on only keeping Biadasz at Center no matter his performance?

Steele had a couple hiccups but again, he had a good game. The young man has earned the starting role even IF Collins is in the mix

Tyler B scares me. Lets give Farniok a look this week in practice at center. He did that and did well in camp.

Collins is a pro bowl caliber NFL OT. He is going to be the starter at RT coming out of the bye.

This fanbase never ceases to amaze me
He may be...but he missed all of last year and most of this year so far.

I can't remember a game where we ran so much yo the right.

Steele has been phenomenal.

I'm almost at the point where I'd put La'el Collins at LG and sit Connor Williams. Steele has been a pleasant surprise this season so far. He also looks like he has a mean streak in him! Rooting for this guy.

Trade La'el Collins right now. I wonder if the Cowboys can get a 1st rounder for him. That would be nice! Many teams need OL help.

I wouldn’t trade him this year as I want to keep the depth for a deep playoff run. But that’s my opinion, without all the expertise and insight to make that decision. I’ll leave that up to the professionals.

Hes been great in the run game, but he still struggles in pass protection. It’s part of the reason we’re running more than we ever have under Moore.

Well sure- if Farniok is better, he should play. All I’m saying is if he’s better than Biadz, why isn’t he already playing?

he’s due 30 million in base over 2022-2024.

no team wants that.

he’s likely cut, like Jaylon was.

A starting OT at age 29 for only $10M/year is a wanted commodity for teams. His salary for the next 3 years would only be his base. He would be in high demand even with his drug past.

If traded now his cap hits would be (the 2021 dead cap probably needs adjusted a little):

2021 Dead Cap: $5,250,000
2022 Dead Cap: $13,950,000
2021 Cap Savings: $1,119,444
