During the broadcast of the Giants-Cowboys game, Troy Ackman said Deion Sanders was the only true shut-down CB that he has ever seen but Diggs might be the second. I thought that was quite a compliment coming from him.

Diggs is actually baiting QB's. Its incredible. You don't see this kind of stuff at the pro level. He is trying to lay off covering people to make receivers look open to the QB and then breaking on the ball to intercept it. QB's in the NFL just don't do that.

I can't believe QB's are still throwing at him. Its suicide.

Diggs could have been an NFL caliber receiver. That experience gives him an exceptional understanding of situational football from the offensive side of the ball. He simply beats the WR to the spot.

I haven’t seen a pick like that since Deion.

The bait, the few steps behind, the making up ground, the skills in the air. It’s insane how good he is

And when he was holding the ball in one hand...it REALLY looked like Sanders out there. Diggs has it all. He obviously doesn't have Deon's speed, but very few NFL players have ever had his speed.

On Diggs int I thought the guy had Diggs beat, but Diggs closing speed on the play reminded me of Deion where he would look beat then turn on the jets and be in better position on the ball than the WR. Diggs came close to having 2 ints in this game.

One of the Cowboys best 2nd round picks ever .

No doubt. I was kinda on the fence about taking him in the first that year, and when Lamb fell I was obviously jumping out of my chair screaming to take him. When we were still able to land Diggs in the second I was thrilled with the pick, and even then I underestimated him. He likely goes top 10 in a redo of that draft.

This is exactly what he is doing. He was doing this vs the eagles a lot. And eagle fans were trying to say smith was burning him. Diggs baits the hell out of QBs

I've rarely (never) remember Troy being so complimentary of the Dallas team. It's refreshing also may mean we have something special.

I've still little wary of the D giving up too many chunk plays and run D. But...they are still shorthanded.

I’m in love, tbh.

I’ve wanted a ball hawk at DB for so long. He’s this good and only been at corner for a few years. He’s basically just played the equivalent of a rookie season so far in the NFL, and he’s already a strong contender for DPOY.

The cool thing is that it doesn’t seem flukey. He got his hands on 14 balls last year and obviously made an effort to secure catches in the off season. This is just what he will do when the ball is near him. :flagwave:
