Notice Cox initiated the contact with the TE and drove the TE back with his initial punch. Nice play read and speed and power by Cox. Watkins and Golston got good penetration inside.

Danny Dimes was way to deep to begin the run. It was a run from the get go and Jones didn’t even try to disguise it. Had the TE released into a pass route and became an option for the pass, it probably would have been a TD. Jones had no safety valve or backup plan.

Just a bad play call by Garrett or Jones, if it was an audible. Good play by numerous Cowboys. Cox being really good.

Judging from the hit, I would expect Danny Dimes to be out a couple weeks.

Garrett is taking heat for even calling that play where your QB is exposed. I’ve seen Dak on runs that look designed wish Kellen would rethink that.

You can't play football scared. Of course you shouldn't run your QB every play either, but a few designed plays here and there is part of the game.

Not “ scared “ but smart. Your already down multiple wide receivers your RB is now out the O/line is patch work , love him or not Jones needed to stay upright and standing for 60 mins.

Same with Dak he’s coming off a serious ankle injury no need with all these weapons to have designed runs for number 4 unless protection has broken down and you have to run.
