Not “ scared “ but smart. Your already down multiple wide receivers your RB is now out the O/line is patch work , love him or not Jones needed to stay upright and standing for 60 mins.

Same with Dak he’s coming off a serious ankle injury no need with all these weapons to have designed runs for number 4 unless protection has broken down and you have to run.
That bootleg works on most defenses, it's reverse psychology. Jones is fortunate that Cox went for a normal tackle. If someone else closed that running lane with intent to hit hard, he might be out for the year, imagine Roy Williams hitting him high while he's dropping his head down like he did.

Giants should cut the TE for not holding the block....shades of Blake Jarwin a few weeks ago
Funny how we now applaud Cox for getting outside to contain run huh

Garrett is taking heat for even calling that play where your QB is exposed. I’ve seen Dak on runs that look designed wish Kellen would rethink that.

umm on the player, period!!

no wishing for crap

you run the play, you simply have to be smarter players.

QBS ARE NOT RBS , IF they put their heads down like onw better be ready for this outcome..they have the option to not lower their head, slide, turn inside sideways and fight for that yard ..

this is solely on the players..they learn as they get older..DJ was tearing up the league running now what payers and fans are complaining AFTER he gets hurt..didnt hear the giants fans complain all season as DJ was leading the league in QB rushes..did they NOPE

please stop the nonsense blaming or pleading for an OC to not call plays to protect players

Its football this is a RPO league, qbs are mobile but always have the option of NOT lowering their heads

all on the player 100%, please stop whining..

DJ grow a Zeke Frow, it pads the brain :)) dak with a Frow that would be HIlarious...lol

Concussions don't apply equally to all players. Seen quarterbacks have their head bounce off the turf, no problem for some, but some get a concussion.

I read a theory a few years ago as to why that happens. It was that what causes a concussion is the brain slapping against the inside of the skull. If the person's skull on the inside is fairly smooth, you get a harder slap, sort of like slapping your hand flat on the surface of the water. Makes a big splash and can make your hand sting. However, if the skull inside is more uneven, part of the brain hits first, then the rest, which reduces the impact. Like curving your hand before hitting the water so that your fingers hit first, not the palm.
Or a tree with lots of small limbs falling on a roof and slowing the impact of the trunk.

Roger retired due to concussions, maybe the inside of his skull was more smooth than say, Meredith's, who got hit just as and probably harder and more often, but didn't (as far as we know) have concussion issues.

In any case, bet Jones won't be lowering his head or taking on linebackers as much anymore...

Looked like danny boy led with his head. Could have been a penalty. I have seen Elliot get flagged for it. It sure took his smarts away for a while. I hope he is ok. I don’t want to see people get hurt.

When Jones comes back to this planet, Garrett should tell him the NFL passed the slide rule to prevent just what happened. And if you're Garrett, you take a dig at Duke. At Princeton, they teach us not to use our brains as a battering ram.

First he falls down while running without getting tackled and follows it up with that bonehead play? Daniel Jones is making the highlight reel for all the wrong reasons.

Gholston & OSA have really been solid additions to the line. Nice to have younger legs on the front with these 2 hopefully Bohanna comes through in this draft at some point.
It may go down as one of our best drafts ever. We also did well w free agency and we have 2 coordinators to have confidence in. MM may have taken some ire, but I think he’s getting the team to coalesce.
